Well I suppose it makes up for his unjust MOTM.

Now though if Arsenal do get this 0-0 it looks like people with Lehmann could score a packet.

he's still going to get motm though. So that'll still be 11 points probably.

Looking at the BBC report, it looks like Lehmann is going to get MOTM, and coupling that with a penalty save gives him eleven points.

Though, it may be Gerrard for missing the penalty, because that riled them up so much that they won. Wow. Gerrard.

---

Then again if you look at how badly Liverpool play without Gerrard he is maybe worthy of always getting MOTM.

Liverpool 1 - 0 Arsenal GARCIA (Hamann)

Agreed although Gerrard was the best outfield player apart from the missed pen. I thought Morientes was awful .. how many chances does he need?

Edit: Okay, Sissoko had a good game too.

Well there we go. God forbid TFF let Gerrard get a negative score. Do you think all the reporters have him in their team? Do they realise if they all got Sissoko no-one else has him and the points are beneficial.

On a side point, does anyone have Sissoko and why?

Anarchy,
Why would you be mad to have Lehmann in your team?, with 10 points last night he is the top scoring keeper, and therefore obviously better value than Cech.

Blimey, is he really the top scoring keeper?

That'll teach me to talk before checking the facts

I just have the impression that Arsenals defence has been fairly crap this season.

i had toure from the start until he went to african nations, one of my best performers. actually very rare for arsenal to concede more than 1 goal in any game.

indeed, they've conceded 21 goals in the league, only liverpool and chelsea better. :)

as for lehmann, total obviously boosted by penalty save and more MOTM performances - i don't think cech has had (m)any of those.

Lehmann as Cech will be rested if Chelsea manage to win League early

Also Chelsea appear to be conceding regularly

looking at the goalkeeping points stats, i realised that it really is a waste of time to tinker between keepers, unless you start with a real dud. There's only a handful of points between the top 4 or 5 keepers.

I'm rather ashamed to say that in my best team i have made no fewer than 3 goalkeeping transfers :(

Thou shalt not tinker with thou goalkeeper...

I totally screwed up weekend before last.

I took Lehmann out for Reina.

Lehmann got MOTM against Birmingham and a clean sheet.

Reina conceded 2 and got sent off against Chelsea.

I've just let Reina in (not that many transfers left)

Now, Lehmann gets MOTM again and saved penalty.

That's a 28 point difference or something
