the ball took deflections off the defender and goalkeeper before forssell scored, does that usually negate a KC?

I wasn't being arsey, I was asking the question as I'm not sure myself, it wasn't meant as a piss-take.

watching on sky , good old tele :), jarosik took one touch to take it past defender then next touch was a cross, a major possibilty of a kc !

Motm predicition : Pennant or Forsell

Deflection off defender - no KC
Deflection off goalkeeper only - still ok for KC

PS. I haven't seen the goal in question, I'm just answering the general query.

Pennant played the ball into Forssell whose first shot was parried by the keeper - the ball then rebounded off of a defender back into the path of Forssell who then scored, does that mean no KC?

i think it depends how much it alters the balls path when hitting defenders if it brushed him it shud b a kc if it took a 'deflection' then probably not fingers crossed for motm anyway.

It took a pretty major deflection off a defender, which completely changed the direction the ball was travelling in, so I can't see there being a KC awarded....wouldn't mind if there was, though

it is just to cause more Rage for the Man of the Match.

if they printed them today and tonights man of the matches in tomorrows paper they would sell at least 2 more copies of the paper :D for it to get posted on Fiso.

Thats unless some one takes a sneaky peek for the man of the match then puts the paper back and buys Playboy instead

The subsequent mysterious disappearance of this announcement from the Game News section on the TFF website has been much discussed on another thread, but whatever the reason,it's back now, confirming JaseC's news above, that JAROSIK is last night's MotM,and proving JaseC was telling the truth,he really had seen it,and hadn't been drinking after all !

I'm watching it live on some Chinese TV Station :

Charton 1 Liverpool 0 D.Bent (no assist, D.Bent brought down by Dudek for the penalty)
Charlton 2 Liverpool 0 Young (no assist)

And as seen on MOTD :

Middlesbrough 1 Coventry 0 Hasselbaink (Yakubu)
