Scholes' pass to Rooney was the very definition of a defence-splitting pass though. From the middle of the park - pass - Rooney 1 on 1 with the keeper. Pity it's about the only decent move United could put together all game.

Mind you, I suck at this TFF lark so I'm sure that's all irrelevant.

It was a defence slitting pass, but the goal came from a move around the keeper, which due to what it was was technically a move through the last defender, and Rooney's actions did this; Scholes did not help.

Darn it, was a long shot but judging by some of the kc's given in recent weeks, I was hoping you'd predict one for MGP as well Bram.

He played a nice ball down the line which Warnock ran onto and picked up out wide, about level with pen spot. Though he cut inside and took what seemed like 3 touches before crossing for Mccarthy to score :?. Probably clutching at straws but i have him in a motw attempt in tffo.

That'll be what negates a KC. If you look at the 2nd SWP goal during the week the same thing happen, however Bridge put the ball in first time. Lampard down the line, Bridge first time cross and a finish from SWP.

Cheers Bram.

Well there's a turn up for the books. No need to sweat over KCs tonight, I can just enjoy MotD2 and relax. I guess David James is the happiest man tonight - he's finally got the premiership record for clean sheets.

Thanks again, the only one I have in any of my teams Pedersen having finally lost the faith with Fabregas after having him in my team all season only to see him score two goals and get 3 consecutive MOTM's as soon as I took him out!

Curses - think two MOTMs were needed for 1600 and I only got one. I'm feeling the Fabregas pain too dilwar and I only dropped him this Saturday. Would be steaming if I'd missed the goals too.

Put Fab back in for Lennon when Arsenal had the extra games. Kept him in thankfully although Adebayor had done me nothing.

Not yet Saint. We won't get an update there (I presume you're talking about TFFO?) until 1200-1300.

The KCs are in. As predicted by me except:

No to Bellamy (didn't think there was much chance there anyway, hence the 'poss')
No to Scholes (a bit shocked there as it was a pinpoint accurate pass over the defence)
No to Rinaldi (not a TFF Player)

Also no to Pedersen, not that I thought he'd get one.

Scholes was never going to get one. Read my explanation above. :D

OK, I'll run with you here, if you apply this logic, how does Keane get a KC for Berbatov's goal v Wigan last weekend?

I thought Scholes would get on as Rooney simply ran onto the ball, he didn't actually beat the keeper in terms of rounding him and scoring, he went to pass him on the left, over ran the ball which Richardson side footed in.
