I did exactly the same and brought in Johnson at the same time. 2 goals + 2 assists from the 2 transfers not exactly the output I'd have hoped for, but you cant moan about Lescott.

Lampard and Ballack would take for Chelsea and then i'd say that Essien and even Carvalho might step up.

Cech's a disgraceful decision. He only made one save of any real note. Sometimes i hate this game

Many thanks Tony. It's always appreciated. Shame I've only got one MOTM, but then again one is an improvement on most weeks.

I only saw bits of the game and he made a couple of great saves in that! Well deserving of his MOTM especially as he now graces our doubles team....

No need to be embarassed, tyaslevesley. Thanks for copying it - the cricket highlights distracted me. If I'd checked before hitting submit then I needn't have bothered.

Note the time, the day, the date and the year - I agree with Hairybear!!!

Cech made a couple of good saves and one great one from Terry's header. However, he also made a couple of howlers - why on Earth he didn't catch the ball twice in short succession when he preferred to push it back into play is beyond me. If that had been VDS he would have been slated again! He did not have a MOM game.

For me, the award should have gone to Nelson, as he made at least three last ditch tackles that would otherwise have ended up in the net (probably!).

And I have Cech in most of my teams!

I think Cech was in the running for MOTM as he, in effect, kept Chelsea in the cup in the last minute with his save from Terry, but I thought Nelsen deserved it too (and yes it is an 'e' in Nelsen  ). The only thing counting against Nelsen is the way he allowed SWP to cut the ball back for the winner. If he'd gone to ground he could have cut it out. What a silly billy.
