He actually took one touch then crossed no? 90% sure there was a KC for Arteta.JonPerkins wrote:latest: Everton 1-1 Fulham
Bocanegra (Davies)
Carsley (Lescott, poss. Arteta?)
Arteta was about 25 yards out, held up the ball well, laid it off to Lescott down the wing who took 2 touches before crossing for Carsley to score forst touch - not sure igf this negates KC or not fr Arteta?

AJ has more of a chance of a KC than Arteta for the first because:-
1. Lescott took two touches and made quite a bit of ground after Arteta's pass. Arteta - 60%
2. AJ made a difficult layback from the by-line directly to Arteta who hit the ball first time into the path of the scorer. AJ - 90%
No doubts over the other 3 KCs for Arteta.

The match report is in the correct format so I'm confident it's the 'official' MOTM as far as TFF is concerned.tonydolphin wrote:is that an official motm wheres tonyp when you need him and for that matter where is bram was it 3 or 4 kc's for arteta
MOTM for Manchester City vs Charlton went to Barton;

barton was mom.that is definitely the WORST decision i have ever seen in the history of mom's on any game and on any site.
the man had 1 shot on goal in the 1st half.city had quite a few corners in the early minutes and he wasted every single one of them.
charlton defending stoutly in the 1st half and had all the chances and majority of possesion in the 2nd half.it had to go to a charlton player.it was a no brainer.
quote from REPORTER=
Barton almost produced the kind of display that makes him the one attacking player worth watching at eastlands.
what.cause he had the only real shot in anger
must admit ive never been so worked up over a mom decision and i have barton in quite a few motm attempts. so theres no bitterness.

Having been to the game at City of Manc, I would say that Barton was the only person who could possibly have got MOTM!
City were so poor that only him and the Chinese 'Sun' looked like they had played the game before. Dunne and Distin looked solid, but then wouldn't you, against such a strange and inert showing from Darren Bent and co.
Barton wins the MOTM not by his great play, but by default as giving it to anyone else would have been an even worse injustice!

I wouldn't give it to Barton, I thought he was pretty average, and his set pieces were awful, the biggest cheer of the day was when someone else took over the cornersCanaryLover wrote:Having been to the game at City of Manc, I would say that Barton was the only person who could possibly have got MOTM!

I think Carson will get it for his two decent saves, no one else stood out at all
