Those with Carvalho will be glad he should get a KC.

I'm not sure it's that hard to predict - I would have said exactly the same as you! (With the exception or Cattermole, but only because it was my birthday yesterday so recollections are sketchy! )

One other thought actually - Drogba had a nightmare first half an hour, but kept at it, was instrumental in 2 of the goals, and for me is in with a (minor) shout for MOTM.

So, the highlights on BBCi weren't as conclusive as I'd hoped. The defender definitely got a touch on it, so Ballack won't get a KC, but I'm not convinced that the defender was the last person to touch it before Lampard. The angles provided tonight didn't make it clear who did get the last touch, so I'll have to leave it open. As to the other matches, not much controversy there thank goodness.

*** Now confirmed on TFFO ***

Blackburn 2-0 Man City
Mokoena (-)
Derbyshire (Peter, Roberts)

Chelsea 3-3 Tottenham
Berbatov (Lennon)
Lampard (Ballack)
Essien og (Ghaly, Lennon)
Ghaly (-)
Lampard ()
Kalou (Carvalho, Drogba)

Watford
Bouazza (Kabba)

After all this I think I need a holiday. And as it happens I'm away visiting my brother in Somerset next weekend, so I probably won't be able to give my views again until next Sunday evening. Have fun.

BBC MotM Ratings based on people who phoned whilst watching the Chelsea Tottenham Match were Berbatov, Lennon, Lampard (in that order)

who gives the MOTM for the cup games

The tel online reporter have the MOTM as follows

Man of the Match: Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham). The Bulgarian was quick to exploit Chelsea's vulnerability in defence, linking up intelligently with Jermaine Defoe and Aaron Lennon. Took his goal superbly.

Man of the Match: David Bentley (Blackburn). Grew into the game and was unlucky with a delicate chip that hit the bar. Full of trickery, he produced some fine crosses.

Man of the Match: Kevin Gallen (Plymouth). The wily veteran orchestrated Plymouth's attacks, opening up play and bringing others into the game with his neat touches and clever passing. Unlucky to be on the losing side.

Tele online MOTM

Personally i'd give it to Lennon, Samba, Foster

Aaron Lennon looks like he's secured the MOTM to go with his 2 KC's - :D

Don't forget Lampards 2 goals, the ones that got them back in the game... Have both anyway, but don't count those chickens yet.

I know previous games shouldn't be taken into account but Lennon's been fantastic of late.

Can't believe Woodgate isn't most people's favourite for MOTM. He was outstanding. Fingers crossed... :)

difficult to give it to a centre back when he let in 2 goals at home.

I can tell you who three of the MOTMs are in tomorrow's paper. But there isn't one with the Watford/Plymouth report, at least not in the first edition.

We have............

Lennon
Tugay
Arca
