With respect, that is missing the point. The man of the match awards on Sundays are given by Sunday Telegraph reporters for the Sunday Telegraph. In this case the Daily Telegraph's reporter gave the man of the match award to a Noble of Bristol but the game team has decided to give it to Viduka. It would be interesting to know who made this decision. It is possible (and I hope this is not the case) that noone from the sports editorial department of the Telegraph had anything to do with it, and it was made by GFM - which would be a breach of their t&cs.
So the same newspaper (basically) send two reporters to this game so why not others?

Besides we don't know how this came about. Maybe the Telegraph are reviewing MOTM at random as they know TFF players aren't happy? Maybe they think some of Mr Winter's decision have been dodgy and so are reviewing all of his? Maybe he just gave an answer in the email to get the question out of the way? Maybe a few of the editorial staff are Bristol City/Middlesbrough fans and so were at the game anyway?

Makes a mockery of the MOTM award IMHO.

Whats the point in having it awarded to a player who we can't chose or score points?

The journos should be informed that when Prem sides play lower division sides, even if the lower div side plays well and deserves a MOTM, the journo should ALSO choose a player on the Prem team otherwise it makes the whole MOTM for FA Cup pointless.
Or Perhaps they are now taking London Saint's views on board ??

The email I had from tele said FA as in Football Association. If they don't think there was one then there probably wasn't. Were you at the game, or just watching on BBC1 like me?
This gets worse. I've just got back from a trip out with the kids and now find that tele are saying that Nolan got booked.

Agreed about the PA though. Why their representative can't knock on the refs door at the end of the game to clarify the basic stats is beyond me.

Having also done that transfer, I would be interested how you make it 22 points for Adebayor for Sundays and Wednesdays games?? Great if it is!

Are you sure - mine with 3 or less all went down. Some rubbish, forgotten teams way down the leaderboard dropped a fair bit with 0 so I can't see how any teams wherever they are in the league went up with 0 .

JUDIO:

Have you thought about emailing them again to explain that they appear to have missed the point of your original email and could they therefore answer it? I have tried this several times with varying levels of success with different companies (I send a lot of complaint emails   )

Some of them just fob you off again, but others eventually realise that every time they do that you just email again and (where possible) escalate the issue until they at least admit the point you are making.

Just a thought.

Chelski 2 - 0 Norwich

SWP (-)
Lampard hit it against a defender so no assist
Drogba (-)
No Assist due to it coming off defenders knee before falling to Drogba

Its 2-1 at HT, Yakubu penalty that he himself was brought down for (i.e. no KC)

It doesn't, but he did totally set the goal up, so in some games he will get an assist, but I think you are all right on no KC in this one.

Makes no odds, as everyone has him anyway!

183089 out of what, 268,000 have him, and he's not even the most selected player, though, you have to admit, over the last few weeks he's not been quite as a prolific.

Unless Bramernic is Tom Cruise; Bradley, Dominic and (Kramer?) are gonna have a very angry mummy when she sees Bramernics little pic.

So Lamps gets no KCs. No wonder I get my points mucked up every week. I had him down for two. Firstly because his shot was blocked and then knocked in by SWP. Plus another because he took the corner, that the Norwich defender couldn't defend, except to knock it straight to Drogba to score.
