Watching Football First

Wondering if Drogba had too much of a run for there to be a KC.

Bolton goal - Pedersen (Speed)
Newcastle - Milner (-), Dyer (Milner)
Villa - Young (-)

Not sure there will be no KC on the Lampard goal. I know it's a shot outside the box but the pass before it was attacking rather than hopeful.

There is absolutely no chance of a kc for Lampards goal he hit it from nearly 30 yards!

Going by football first replay last night Id say Vidic is even in with a shout.

I was at the game and Ronaldo was absolutely fantastic, if he does not get Man of the Match then it's a farce. That said, I'd much prefer it to be Rooney as my main rival in my Super League does not have him!

Vidic had a great game. Headed everything away, made some good interceptions and won almost every single header attacking corners.

Outside the main 2 I reckon he has an outside chance.

Outside the main 2 I reckon he has an outside chance.

Vidic played well for the 75 mins he was on the pitch but he is not in the reckoning. Watford posed no threat whatsoever and hardly attacked so he didn't have much to do (granted what he did have to do, he did it very well). The man of the match will rightly go to one of the attacking players, and if the reporter watched the same game as me then it will definitely be Ronaldo. Still hoping for Rooney though!

How Diarra was not motm for the Chelsea game is beyond me!?!? Lampard was ok, but Diarra stood out by a country mile!

However taken from the report.

I just checked the copy in our coffee room at the office and there is no man of the match stated for Man U. As someone noted above though Tim Rich is glowing about Ronaldo e.g.:

I'd be very surprised if it goes to anyone else but you never know....
