Can't believe Fabregas got one.

If you believe Henry didn't touch the ball then it makes sense. Very similar to fake's (if slightly less worthy in it's 'keyness').

Neither can I - but the Tele seem to adore him. Usually nailed on MOTM and always gets the 50/50 KC decisions.

My understanding of KC's is if a player passes the ball a short distance which doesn't take out / split the defence then no KC's is given.

Rule: When one of your selected players makes a significant contribution to a goal scored by his football club.

Fabregas's involvement was not significant enough IMO but there you go.

Excellent, the Fabregas one was a nice bonus.

Just checked all the other KCs from Saturday and they have given one to Davies for the Nolan goal as well. Solano also got one for Milner's goal as I suggested was a possibility, while Beattie didn't get one (which I didn't think was likely, but after Fabregas I'm not so sure). All others as predicted.

Did Parker not get one for Milner's?

Very good ... was about to check that (for about 2 seconds) ... the assistant ref ought to have the KC though.

Evra

Did Henry Winter file his report after 80 minutes???
Where did he out a foot wrong between 80 and 94?
Only seen the highlights on MOTD2, but both goals came from crosses from his side, although they were probably more to do with errors from Ferdinand than Evra.

Desperately hoping that Henry gets the KC. I think he definitely touched it (you can see the spin on the ball changes), but he didn't change the trajectory of the ball. Does that matter though?
I watched the whole game and thought both Evra and Vidic were outstanding for Utd; no surprise to me that Evra got it.

In terms of the goals, yes they both came from his side of the pitch......but why? Answer - SAF put Heinze on for Ronaldo and switched Evra to Left Midfield; Heinze couldn't defend against Eboue/Rosicky - result = 2 goals conceded from crosses from that position.

It was SAF's fault - nothing to do with Evra.

(IMO  )

Heinze wasn't on the pitch when RVP scored.

I can see a HUGE flaw in my argument, with respect to the first goal......

He (Evra) wasn't at fault for the second one though......

I didn't think Evra was at fault for either goal really even though they both came from the right wing position.
