i think you'll find a few people disagreeing with you on the GIven one from what I saw of the highlights.

Watched them with someone who'd seen the game and they thought Given too.

I think he'd made enough saves in the first 10 minutes to get MoM - then spent the rest of the game topping up!

To be fair, Scholes was superb and thoroughly deserved the award. The Gerrard decision on the other hand is farcical!

Yes. All confirmed as per predictions, plus a bonus one for Routledge for McBride's goal.

Nothing for Milner - sorry anon1086 :D

There's a sister online game called TFFOSM which uses the same data as the newspaper game (apart from MotMs). That updates late Monday morning so people who play that as well can see the KC decisions.

JAYBOY,

Not sure if you're really saying you couldn't find the KC details in this thread, but maybe you aren't sure about the way we describe goals here. The posts you are looking for are like the one quoted below, where for example, Johnson scored a goal with KCs from Yobo and Anichebe.

In the case of my predictions you can also find them on my homepage (just click on www below any of my posts) as long as the blogger interface isn't misbehaving.

Just checked my calendar,.. it's not April 1st - tonyp,.. do us favour and post these on the correct day will you mate
I only watched the Everton and Liverpool games in their entirety this weekend.

Which means I watched two more than the telegraph reporters.
I thought AJ deserved his ...was a constant threat

Given one is all wrong though
why do you say that foxtrot?

13 shots on target, so Given definately kept Newcastle in a position to win the game, well Given or Salano was going to get it in my book once Newcastle won.

I saw the whole match and Given had a good game no doubt but didn't pull off any spectacular saves, plus he went rushing out of goal at one point and should have been punished by Steed.
It does a disservice to the outfield players as there was some fine football played. The best player on the pitch for the whole 90 IMO was Defoe ...however the player who won the game was Martins so I would have expected him to get it

Yes, that is the clearest example I've seen or reporter bias. It's so blatant its embarrasing. I presume Mr Winter takes several pairs of clean pants to change into each time he's reporting on a Man U match.

I suppose it just shows how different opinion can be. I thought Lita was excellent for Reading, and any one of their midfielders could have gotten the nod. AJ did look threatening, but that's just because we know he has pace - he didn't actually do a great deal.

For what it's worth I don't have players from either team (well, Doyle).
