Kirkland OG (Robben)

Robben tried to cross it, Kirkland knocked it in!

I thought there was agreement that people wouldn't post stuff that they hadn't SEEN (as in watching the game yourself) on this thread.

Drogba gets another yellow, looks like another 0 points for those of us with him in the team.

In the first half they were lucky to be 1 up.

If you play like this next week I'll be happy!

They are only 3 up because Wigan have been SHOCKING defending - almost as bad as the Liverpool schoolboys that played in the League Cup.

1st Goal, they all watched Frank Lampards free kick float in,
2nd Goal - Wigan defender played Robben through one on one with Kirkland.
3rd Goal - Kirkland knocks in a cross that would certainly have been cleared if he had missed it.

You can see for yourself tonight.

MOTM in the Liverpool game for me is between Finnan, Kuyt, Crouch and Bellamy.

The Kuyt second-KC for the second goal will depend on how many touches Bellamy had.

If Bellamy shot with his first touch after Kuyt's pass, it will be a definite KC for Kuyt, but if he took a handful of touches running towards the goal before he shot an extra KC is unlikely. I didn't watch the game so can't tell you.

Robben is near certain to be man of the (very poor) match v Wigan. Also watching on Fox Soccer Channel.

I suppose Robben might get a KC for goal 3. If you could give KCs for defensive screw-ups Wigan would have picked up a hatful.

4th goal

Drogba (Mikel) - edit, agree with revised KC

4th goal

Drogba (Geremi)

I think Geremi passed it to Mikel who crossed it into Drogba

Drogba (Mikel) for me.

I would agree with Robben MOTM, he looked the best player on the pitch.

Not a prayer of it being Kuyt IMO.

He took on and beat at least two defenders, went to the byline and shot across goal, ball hit keeper and went in

Certain KC

Toure (Henry)

I am pretty sure it was Henry that took the free kick but I couldn't see clearly because I am watching it online.

Anyone confirm?

Not yet they've got a quiet period coming up and difficult games. The problem with TH is its very difficult to have the following

2 liverpool defenders
Gerrard
Lampard
Ronaldo
Henry

Without the rest of the team being shite.

Not IMO - however stranger things have happened.

TH was almost anonymous in the first half - I would go for Cesc or Hleb for MOTM.

TH shouldn't get MoM, even though he is in my team

Cesc, Hleb or any of the back 4 could get it.
