Newspaper erroneously added above name & points to December table.
The 20th team has 473 points (see TFF password & leaderboard thread).

Does it give a team name for Mr J Dodd, (we have one in our S/L -Team Gnarls)?

However, from the Telegraph website:

Thierry Henry by John Ley
Gavin McCann by Henry Winter
Henry was always going to get it, it was a sentimental vote. I'm not denying he had a good game, but how the f*ck did Carson not get it? I know he conceded 4 but he made at least 3 world class saves.

F*cking telegraph, I'm still spewing that the website went on the blink as I tried to fire Henry in. :x

His saves didn't dramatically change the result though did they? A thrashing was still a thrashing.

I was at the game and thought Carson was immense, but Henry really took the game by the scruff and started to win back some of the doubters. I don't have any problem with the MOTM award.

Hmmmn, Henry scored one, set one up, won a pen, hit the post, had one cleared off the line, along with several other efforts, and in general played very well and determined the outcome of the game....but you'd rather have it given to a goalkeeper who, despite making some great saves, conceded four goals...

Wouldn't be the first time the Telegraph reporter chose to give it to a worthy player on a badly beaten team. I'm sure I recall earlier this season a defender on the wrong end of a 3-0 was given MotM.

And what about the time MOTM was given to the striker from a team which lost 3-0

Nothing to add there - perhaps worth mentioning that Eboue will get 2 points in total despite being yanked off the pitch before he got himself sent off.

am i right in thinking that is that is 2 points for his part clean sheet - did he get a yellow to cancel his 2 appearance points?

I'm not looking forward to the last bit of MOTD. KCs may not all be possible to identify. So far we've had the two prem teams who failed to score, the two who were on live earlier and Chelsea. I'm recording because many of the other goals won't get action replays or commentary, so we'll see how much I can work out. In the meantime:

Chelsea
Lampard (Kalou, Wright-Phillips)
Lampard (-)
Lampard (Shevchenko)
Wright-Phillips (Lampard)
Mikel (-)
Carvalho (Wright-Phillips)

Small point, but didn't the ball come off the defender after SWP's touch, before Lampard scored his first goal?

Fulham
McBride (Brown)
Volz (-)

Portsmouth 2-1 Wigan
Cole (Davis)
McCulloch (Teale)
Kanu (Johnson)

Watford
Mackay (Smith, whoever headed it on) unless it was a defender, then no KC - the video wasn't conclusive

Ashikodi (-)

West Ham
Noble (Tevez)

My personal opinion is that the defender flicked the ball on, although it's impossible to be sure even after watching several times on super slo-mo! The Watford player involved was Jay DeMerit.
