Wonder if the MoMs from today will be posted on the internet tomorrow morning and be in the paper as well?

They should be?

My view from tonight's first 3 games on MOTD

Villa 0-3 Man U
Ronaldo (-)
Scholes (-) fantastic goal - haven't there been loads of great volleyed goals recently
Ronaldo (Neville)

Wigan 2-3 Chelsea
Lampard (-) Even if the attacker won the header I doubt TFF will call it key
Kalou (Robben)
Heskey  (Skoko)
Heskey   (Landzaat)

Robben (-)

Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn
Nonda (pen) (Bentley)

Gilberto Silva (van Persie)
Hleb (-) Adebayor took two men out with a nice touch but Hleb still had work to do - my hunch is no KC but would defer to Bram on this one
Adebayor (van Persie)

Nonda (Darbyshire) Did a defender clip that after it hit the crossbar? Don't think so so I'll call it as a KC
van Persie (-)
van Persie (Fabregas)
Flamini (Fabregas)

I think you have your goals mixed up....this was a Robben through ball from the edge of the area....definitely Robben KC.

Villa 0-3 Man U
Ronaldo (-)
Scholes (-) fantastic goal - haven't there been loads of great volleyed goals recently
Ronaldo (Neville, Rooney)

Neville used one touch and Rooney put him through so I'd defo with Wayne.

Wigan 2-3 Chelsea
Lampard (Robben)
Kalou (Robben)
Heskey  (Skoko)
Heskey   (Landzaat)

Robben (-)

Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn
Nonda (pen)
Bentley never touched the ball.
Gilberto Silva (van Persie)

More from watching MOTD

Boro 2-0 Charlton
Yakubu (Morrison)
Arca (-) That grey area around the box again....

Man C 0-2 Bolton
Anelka (Hunt)
Anelka (Pedersen)

Reading 0-2 Everton
Johnson (Arteta)
McFadden (Johnson)

Newcastle 3-1 Spurs
Dyer (-) Did too much surely
Martins (Parker)
Murphy (Chimbonda)
Parker (Martins) Bit of a lame scramble but pretty clear that Parker scored direct from a rebound off the keeper from a Martins shot

There's an Adebayor assist for Van Persie's second goal, slid it in to Fabregas for the square pass to Van Persie...

Final 3 MOTD games

Liverpool 2-0 Watford
Bellamy (Gerrard)
Alonso (Kuyt) Long range shot again, but given there were more players around Kuyt to be taken out rather than around Alonso I'll call the KC

Fulham 0-0 West Ham
Nothing to see here....move along please

Portsmouth 3-1 Sheff Utd
Hulse (Geary)

Kozluk og (-) Could be whoever crossed the ball I suppose but I can't see it
Campbell (Taylor)
Pamarot (Mendes)

Re: Mystery's versions of KC's
Plus these IMO

Blackburn's 2nd - Expect Emerton to get an assist as well, his cross, Derbyshire header onto post, Nonda overhead when it dropped

M'boro's 2nd - Viduka header to Arca, should be KC

Portsmouth's 1st - Benjani cross hit Davis and Kozluk failed to clear and banged it in his own net, so although it deserved a KC the 2 defenders touches probably rule it out

I'm afraid I will be unavailable for comment re MOTMs on Christmas night. I should be able to post Boxing Day night but don't count on it...the benevolent management might tell us all to lay down our quills early and return to the bosoms of our families. As it were. Normal service resumed thereafter.

In the meantime I wish all my readers a Happy Christmas.

First time I've seen a whole Saturday MOTD since September, I thought as Bram's out partying I'll summarise the above for now and add my own extra or two. Then wait for Bram to rip it to shreds and of course be proven absolutely correct later.

**EDIT: ALREADY () CONFIRMED ON TFFO**

ARS 6-2 BLA
Nonda (-)
Gilberto (Van Persie)
Hleb (Adebayor) Hleb took a few touches, but I think that was possible because Adebayor's pass initially gave him so much space
Adebayor (Van Persie)
Nonda (Emerton, Derbyshire)
Van Persie (-)
Van Persie (Adebayor, Fabregas)
Flamini (Fabregas)

AVL 0-3 MUN
Ronaldo (-)
Scholes (-)
Ronaldo (Rooney, Neville)

FUL 0-0 WHM

LIV 2-0 WAT

Bellamy (Gerrard)
Alonso (-) Don't think Kuyt's pass was significant enough, although it is a little like Ghaly/Huddlestone last week so is possible

MCY 0-2 BOL
Anelka (Hunt)
Anelka (Pedersen)

MID 2-0 CHA
Yakubu (Morrison)
Arca (Downing, Viduka)

NEW 3-1 TOT
Dyer (-)
Martins (Parker) Milner not given. Milner found Parker in space who took one touch then crossed. May or may not be given, pass to Bram
Murphy (Chimbonda)
Parker (Martins)

POR 3-1 SHU
Hulse (Geary)
Kozluk og (-) IMO should be Jagielka og (Benjani), but PA give it as Kozluk og so no KC*
Campbell (Taylor)
Pamarot (Mendes)

*Jagielka's deflection on Benjani's cross was clearly taking the ball in so I don't know why Kozluk got given the OG for his failed goalline clearance?

RDG 0-2 EVE
Johnson (Arteta)
McFadden (Johnson)

WIG 2-3 CHE
Lampard (Robben)
Kalou (Robben)
Heskey (Skoko)
Heskey (Landzaat)
Robben (-)

Thanks to forum lurker Edmonton Blue for pointing this out to me, KCs have already been updated on TFFO!

All as I predicted, except none for Milner.

To clarify:
No to Kuyt, yes to Rooney, Emerton, Viduka and Downing, 1 for Martins, 2 for Adebayor.

MOM's seem to be up as well on the Telegraph site. I'm assuming these are the official ones, rather than the 'Sunday paper versions'? If so :

(EDIT : It seems these are the sunday ones after all)

Volz (FUL)
Adebayor (ARS)
Ronaldo (MUN)
Bellamy (LIV)
Anelka (BOL)
Yakubu (MID)
Dyer (NEW)
Mendes (POR)
Johnson (EVE)
Heskey (WIG)

If you're looking at the ones I think you are, they look like the general format of the Sunday online reports (with the MOM explained rather than just named). And check the top of the reports: where it names the reporter, it will specify if it is a Sunday Telegraph article.

Ah yes, so it is. I thought they might have brought the official ones forward, seeing as the assists have already been done on TFFO, but you're right.

I don't beleive it!

I spend an hour zapping through all 32 goals on the video and then find TFFO have updated already and I could have been fast asleep. Not surprised TFFO have updated though, tonight was probably the cheapest option overtime wise to sort out the points update ready for midnight Wednesday.

Happy Christmas everyone .. see you Boxing Day!
