I'm interested in your choice of no KC for the Huddlestone goal Bram......clearly, you're the top man for these and I'm no expert, but having just seen the goal on SSN it was a flowing Spurs move with a defined pass into the edge of the box where Huddlestone cracked it on the volley first time - therefore, so that I can understand these KC's properly (for once ), how can the final pass into Huddlestone not be deemed to be key?Bramernic wrote:My view of today's potential KCs after watching MOTD2.

I would liken it to Drogba's goal against Liverpool - however, Lamps got a KC and in my view, Drogba did a lot more with the turn to get the goal than Huddlestone did.
Just my thoughts, I'd be interested to hear yours Bram.
Thanks.

And which goal was he at fault for? Ballack's free kick? Lampard's stunner? Or maybe Drogba's incredible long range strike?gilva18 wrote:Lescott - concedes 3 goals and gets MOM?????
Er.....dont think so.........
I'm prepared to guess that you didn't watch the game. He's been outstanding every week and was the same yesterday.

10 minutes to go and it was certainly between Lescott or Yobo, but the 2 goals changed the game, however Drogba was largely anonymous.tedbull wrote:And which goal was he at fault for? Hmmm, thought was that it was too far out and that would rule out a KC, but I've been caught by the grey area round the box again - he did get a KC.itchy wrote:I'm interested in your choice of no KC for the Huddlestone goal Bram......clearly, you're the top man for these and I'm no expert, but having just seen the goal on SSN it was a flowing Spurs move with a defined pass into the edge of the box where Huddlestone cracked it on the volley first time - therefore, so that I can understand these KC's properly (for once ), how can the final pass into Huddlestone not be deemed to be key?

Oh, yes ... that'll be Ghaly ... well done to Judio and others for suggesting the possibility btw.mstylianou wrote:Who got the KC?
Saturday's have now been checked. No to Butt , but otherwise as predicted. Pennant didn't get one for his bruised face and I can't think of any others that were debateable.

Problem was that Harewood did too much before crossing to Reo-Coker. For two KCs to be given, the person in the middle must have minimal input - one touch, two at most.bossman wrote:i thought that the West ham player (?) who slid the ball through defenders legs to Harewood yesterday for NRC's goal deserved a KC. It was fully intentional, and if it weren't for his vision, no goal would have come.

You guessed wrong, I saw the whole game. I agree Lescott played well (and by the way, he did not attempt to block Lamps or Drogba's shots) (guess he is a bit slow) but if a team concedes 3 goals a defender simply should not get MOM. Did Lescott assist in any of Evertons goals? No!tedbull wrote:And which goal was he at fault for? Ballack's free kick? Lampard's stunner? I'm prepared to guess that you have blue blood and are rather bias!

well, in their (TFF reporters) defence...Chelsea were *away* from home, and had to come from behind,..... twice, to win. The TFF reporters were probably feeling inadequate, they can't come from..........nah....they just want to eff over all the TFF teams with Chelsea players in their side It's a conspiracy I tell you.Judio wrote:Just like the Telegraph reporters continue their reluctance
in giving any MOTM to any Chelsea players apart from Essien
