Another who's happy to give the 2nd KC to Ronnie, surely he cant get one for a backward pass inside the box. It was simply a layoff back to Giggs! I dont doubt he DESERVES a KC, but he wont get one under the rules of this game, will he?

Deserves one, but shouldn't get one in my eyes going by the rules of the game.

I'll be interested to get Bram's view of this. Ronnie did a lot to keep the move alive, and the final pass deliberately enabled the cross for the goal. Clever, important, but is it a KC?

Bit touchy there True Blues. Wasn't Chaser just trying to helpfully fill in your blank?
That wasn't how I read it, but if it was meant to be a helpful addition (not sure why there was an exclemation mark at the end) then ignore the above.

Life is too short

I'll go yes on the Ronaldo 2nd KC.

If he had just done sod all and just laid the ball to Giggs I would say No.

eg: Finnan won't get one for the 10 yard lay off to Gerrard who whipped the ball in to the Wigan box (which from memory beat 1 possibly 2 players before McCulloch calmly slotted it away) for the OG.

However I think due to Ronaldo's run, beating the keeper, then stretching at pace to keep the ball in play then the pass to Giggs for a first time cross should in my eye's be a KC.

Over to the Telegraph.

PS: I have Ronaldo in nearly every team

Gives us a guide though, Just set up a new topic for this as Jameselaprendi says are not the official ones. As this topic is for official ones just set a new one up, I'm not against reading these from the website. To be fair the telegraphs IMO is not the greatest website.

Yes, we get this every week. Sunday Telegraph MOTM is nothing to do with TFF MOTM, which is done by the Daily Telegraph journalists. A friendly tabloid journalist usually gives us early confirmation about 11pm tonight.

The ones above look pretty likely to me, though not sure about Sidwell. You can't get much of a flavour from MOTD highlights but Doyle seemed to be everywhere.

On the dubious Ronaldo KC subject, I remember a very similar thing from a couple of years ago. ManU v Southampton - Rooney burst down the left, skinned about 3 defenders, danced along the byline, played a nice back-pass to RVN who squared it to Ronaldo, who fired home.

I wasn't aware of FISO at the time so I have no idea of the general opinion, but I thought it was a cast-iron KC for Rooney. However, on the Wednesday there it was - no Rooney KC. Having Rooney in my team at the time, I almost burst with rage.

Now to my mind, Rooney did a hell of a lot more in the above example than Ronaldo on Saturday. If he gets his second KC, I'll be looking for the Telegraph to reimburse me with those 3 lost points from long ago.

Anyone see the second Everton goal? KC for anyone (Carsley? Johnson? - usual garbled rubbish on BBC etc).

Haven't seen the Ronaldo one but wouldn't have thought Carsley will get a KC. Straightforward ball that took no defs out of the equation to Vaughan well outside the box with a man still to beat.

Drat! DRAT! And DOUBLE DRAT!!! For some reason, I put Doyle in for Gerrard instead of Lampard. TRIED to put Gerrard BACK into the team and there was a database error!! After 3 Gerrard KCs it seems, I'm a sick as a parrot!!
