I'd be inclined to suggest that the defender that cleared may even get one for his 50 yard clearance (I mean visionary pass!) :D

OK, another debate on principle.

The first Reading goal. Hunt KC ?

Hunts back heel took out 2 defenders and created the perfectly weighted pass that enabled the cross to be played in first time for the headed goal.

Tell me why that isn't a kc ? You're going to say it was a short pass backwards .......

Yes, I pondered that one for a while. In the end I feel it was too short for the distance from goal, but it was certainly a good move. They may give one, but back passes more often than not do not get KCs. For the moment I'll stick with my gut feeling which is no KC.

Can anyone remember a similar incident?

All on the website Murf - don't be lazy

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.j ... gshe19.xml

Link above is for United report and even explains the MOM decision

(Edit: Just trying to point out where he got the MOM's from - not saying they were correct!)

Does throw up intersting point as even the Telegraph MOM's vary between reporters.

Precisely my concern.

Sunday and Daily Telegraph use different reporters. Last week the Telegraph website started putting MOTM awards on the sunday paper reports which only act as a source of confusion in terms of TFF.
