Im not watching the match but i heard Fabregas was involved in the build up, will his contribution be recognised in TFF terms? :)

Unfortunately not James  but i had to re-watch as first impression was Cesc. Turned out to be Rosicky which strangely left me cursing the fact my team had scored. LOL!

Nolan sent off with 2 pen saves for Jussi, first from McCarthey and then Roberts.

3-0

RVP (Hleb, maybe Henry) - I'm never sure about how they count the second KC so others will need to confirm. The oracle and leg-end Bram will know.

I would say YES for Henry - played Hleb into the box.

Probably MotM for Jussi too - that must be 19 points!!! Pity I haven't got him in any of my teams.

I would also say yes to Henry KC - same as Cesc KC for Adebayor goal against Watford (played in Henry behind defence).

So far then it's: -

Henry (Cesc)
Hleb (Rosicky)
RVP (Henry, Hleb)

And to think I nearly put Hleb in this morning......

Just like the Lampard one yesterday - if Henry doesn't get it, neither should Lampard

Does anyone think that there might be a case for second KC on the first Henry goal :?: :?:

I didn't take much notice of where Fabregas receieved the pass (think it was from Hleb) but I thought it was well picked out and the pass split the defence. Cesc had a couple of touches before Henry tapped in so may be viewed as having to do too much anyway. :?

No. Fabregas did too much work IMO.

In the polls I did yesterday;

9 said Heskey, 12 said someone else. But Heskey was top pick.
15 said James, 19 said someone else. But James was top pick.
1 said Reid, but only six people voted, and he was third.
1 said Howard, 25 disagreed.

As a forum, the general consensus over those four games is that they all had very good games, but Howard's should have been Arteta or Andy Johnson.

From what I read about the other games, I was waiting to read Cescy, Knight seems mehy but I didn't watch the game, Jaaskelaininen saved two penalties so that was a defo pick (its gonna be an easy sight to see who has him in the superleague; 19points!) Scholes was always gonna get it for it was a landmark game and he scored, Downing apparently played well; Lennon played well as usual and Heskey, well, he played well for once.

So, yeah. The only which stands out a bit is Tim Howard, but even that one makes sense.

Scholes (Man Utd) What a joke, I thought Giggs and Saha played very well but I suppose the sun shines out of his arse cause its his 500 appearance.

From a neutral point of view, and he is not in my teams, I thought he was outstanding, Sky gave him MOM and so did MOTD.

I was at the game and I thought Scholes was superb, totally controlled the centre of midfield against Alonso & Sissoko, plus got the all important opener. Even though I don't have him, I can't argue against it.

i don't quite know how you can call that decision a 'joke'. Even if you don't think he was the absolute best player on the pitch, it'd be difficult to argue against him being in the top 2 or 3. Personally, i have to agree with others, from what i saw he was well worth the motm award. And i have him in ZERO teams (have giggs in a few and saha in most!)
