Glen Johnson tried to to shield the ball from forward and waited for James to come outBramernic wrote:All Sunday's confirmed, note NOTHING for Spurs first goal. I'll check Saturday's when they've properly updated all the points.
James seemed to push Johnson who then knocked the ball to Murphy hence the lack of KCs

I still think Johnson fell on James' hand just after he'd pushed it out. However, there was a relatively long gap between the initial save and the goal, so maybe no KC was deserved anyway.Judio wrote:Glen Johnson tried to to shield the ball from forward and waited for James to come outBramernic wrote:All Sunday's confirmed, note NOTHING for Spurs first goal. The telegraph report says:
The second half began in startling fashion, enabling Watford to put a hold on the game with a goal after just 13 seconds. After Volz had lost the ball in his own half, Watford captain Gavin Mahon took advantage, feeding Bouazza on the flank. His perfect cross from the left could not have sat more comfortably for Young, who slid in to claim his first Premiership goal.
SO if anyone will get a kc it sounds like Mahon will.

Piecing together the various guesses and applying confirmed TFFO points, this is what I reckon happened last night. I did see the goals on SSN at 1030, but I couldn't get a video in quick enough.
