"it took me too long to get on the AJ bandwagon, thats why i lost"

I resisted before the pool game because i figured Liverpool would wake up for the derby. I didnt bring him in for today because his spot in the team im planning on bringing him into currently occupied by Peter Crouch who im giving his 3 bonus games before bringing in AJ next sunday morning.

Scharner double!

Doesn't Arteta take them if Beattie is not on the pitch so AJ would be 2nd choice even if Beattie wasn't on the pitch?

I heard it and thought great Arteta will take it, then Beattie steals the ball from somebody! Grrr.

4 fouls in 27 minutes from Tim Cahill and no card! At least the refs are never biased to home teams when it comes to issuing cards.

I think the missing goals not described above are

SHF U v REA
Hulse (Armstrong and Akinbiyi)
Seol (Possibly Lita , shot on edge of the D)

EVE V WIG
Cahill will get KC as the keeper parried his cross to Johnson
Scharner 2nd ( Johansson)
Beattie (Osman was not in possession, so an unlikely KC)

It was hard to see, but I think Cahill's cross came off a defender in the 6-yard box just before the keeper parried it. I also predict an extra KC for Baines for Scharner's second goal.

All my teams were scoring 40-50, now most of them are 30-40 thanks Rio and Brown being in some of them. Good week turns into an average one with one goal. :( My first bad moment of TFF.

Adebayor (Fabregas)

Although, the fabregas assist brings some of them back up, and if he was to get MoM that would help. And other candidates for MoM in other matches coming would help bring me back to 40+ scores :-D

Fabregas was excellent. Would be very surprised if he wasn't Man of the Match.

I have to agree, very much doubt FF will get an assist. I thought Drogba had a terrific game apart from the odd Stage moment, should be a definate MOM!

Bram usually states if inside the D then KC applies.

Drogba 1 touch then shot, IMO KC will apply in this instance.

Looked just inside the D, but there was a defender directly in front when he received, and shot the ball.

Even as a disappointed United fan, I have to agree with this - Fabregas played great today.

I'll go for a Lampard KC

Not sure in the rules where I've read about defender in front of people.

The rules of KC are:

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Key Contribution” means (in relation to scoring points) when one of your selected players makes a significant contribution to a goal scored by his football club. No Key Contribution is given to a player who simply touches the ball sideways from a free kick, or to the penalty taker when penalties are saved or come back off the woodwork before a goal is scored. Also, if during a pass to a team mate that results in a goal, an opposing player significantly alters the speed or direction of the ball, then no Key Contribution is given. If a goalkeeper does not have control of the ball and parries a shot or drops a cross or the ball rebounds off the woodwork, the attacking player shooting or crossing the ball receives the Key Contribution if a goal directly ensues. In the event of a penalty, the player in possession of the ball when fouled for the penalty gets a Key Contribution if it is successfully scored, but not if he takes it himself in which case no Key Contribution is given. No Key contribution is given for a player who earns a free kick that subsequently results in a goal. A Key Contribution may be awarded for an own goal.

I wish it weren't so, seeing as I have him, but I can't see there being any way an assist will be awarded for Drogba's goal - you can hardly argue that Lampard's pass was key to creating the goal, Drogba created that himself out of absolutely nothing.

If Lampard hadn't played a pin point 30 yard pass would Drogba have scored?
