No. A 5 yard pass on the half way line is NEVER a KC.JGoodhead wrote:Is Duff a consideration for a KC in respect of Newcastle's second goal?

I'd agree with you in 999 cases out of 1000, but last season in the FACup they awarded one to a Man Utd player (I think it was Rossi) when he did just that. However, in that instance the goalscorer was running at full speed towards the goal and the pass was timed to perfection so that he didn't have to adjust at all to pick up the ball. It's the only time I've seen anything like it (and I didn't predict it either).Tricky Tree wrote:No. A 5 yard pass on the half way line is NEVER a KC.JGoodhead wrote:Is Duff a consideration for a KC in respect of Newcastle's second goal?

The rio own goal is described as follows:
Heidar Helguson's goal boundshot from outside the area hits United's Rio Ferdinand square in the chest and loops over Edwin van der Sar.
Could be one for the Premiership's famous Dubious Goals Committee to decide on, but Helguson's the favourite.
So what is the expert opinion? And how does it work in TFF? Is it what the goals commitee decide?
