Re: No transfer work league
I would be interested in strategies for this too...
My initial thoughts are to pick a defence/GK that goes deep in tournament, a mid/striker combo of those going deep and some that don't go deep but gets you points in group stages.

Struggling at the moment but will put a team together soon. Even formation is an issue

Re: No transfer work league
I’m playing in one of these as well.
Edging towards 5-3-2 as then allows the front 5 of your choice, which I think is the way to go.
In the back 5, there are a couple of cheap sub 3m options, then again have a keeper and two defenders from the nation you think will go furthest whilst being the meanest.
I think this looks better than having 2 or 3 compromised picks in the front 6.

Re: No transfer work league
I have 2 draft teams and I would say with the exception of 3 players I have pretty much exactly the same players. The front 5/6 seems to pick itself.

What team would you go for. What players would you change?

Re: No transfer work league
Personally I would go with the 4-3-3.
Given you are not doing a defensive block (which I agree with) you have to be looking to get most of your points in Mid/Def so want to load my players there.

Re: No transfer work league
Worth picking Alisson over De Gea to hedge your bets re total clean sheets?

Should I be looking at Muller/Isco or another/different forward?

Re: No transfer work league
Think I can get a few clean sheets here and the midfield should provide points even if one fails to do well. I have 0.3 left.
Is this team better than previous ones or can I improve?
