Have set a fun league up for aiming at the Goals prize.

No rules or disclaimer as there is no money or super league prizes involved just aim for most goals scored and follow the rules as per tff.

I was planning on having ten teams in the main game and one for the goals prize but it's tempting to do it the other way round now. 5k for the most goals seems a bit odd when the main prize is only 10k. Half the prize money for (probably) a lot less than half the competition

Just joined this league.

First time playing for golden boot. What's the best strategy on this regarding defence: just pick the three cheaper defenders in the game for 6.0m, or invest a bit there for players with reasonable price and attacking potential: e.g. Otamendi + Kolarov + Trippier for 11.5m ??

Balancing act between hoping a defender sneaks a goal and not needing to worry about the outfield budget at all, hard to say what option is best probably a bit of both.

I only spotted that prize distribution anomaly yesterday. Might have thrown my sole freebie team at goals instead of the main game had I realised. Got to be more fun rotating strikers than block defences. Mind you with a cheapish Russian defence I'm still ok for this (if you ignore the fact I missed out on the 5 goals).

Yes they show the players scores on the day so that's good and a very nice addition that's worth keeping just not the teams as I think they did the first one or two days. Plus no golden boot table yet.

Still no Golden Boot Leaderboard up,, was told doing it yesterday morning ,,,, updates on scores coming through but Still NO Golden Boot leaderboard ,

You ring up and the persons who take the calls , have not been briefed, or trained, or even looked at the website ,, Poor management from TFF
