TFFE Official Mini League

There is a £500 prize on offer for the TFFE mini league this season. Plus £100 if it comes second and £50 for third.

Therefore, I've created the FISO Forum mini league.

The prize will be split between the top five managers who have made at least 10 posts at today's date and have posted to this thread to announce they have joined the league.

To keep it simple. The prize will be split as follows:

20% each

Isn't it normally a 5 way split in Tele mini leagues when it is top 5 scores that count?

Just added my team, presume there wasn't a cut off point to join?! There was an error message when I tried to join yesterday just prior to kick off, honest! Anyway, only first game day, but basking in my number 1 glory for several more hours until scores are updated later!!

Note it is top five managers - not teams - that decide any super league prize:

Rule 14.3
£500 will be awarded at the end of the Competition to the Chairman whose Private League ... has amassed the highest average number of points (based on the top five managers in that Private League) ... Private League that finishes second will win £250; third will win £100.

Think also the FISO tradition of the top five sharing any SL win is preferable, especially if it's the first or second prize. Perhaps any smaller return could be used to fund entry fee to a future TFF Fiso cash SL?

Sorry Ash I only saw on Thursday that there was already a league created for this within FISO.
I'm in another- I genuinely missed your post.

Possibly merge if everyone is happy?

Or have a right old battle

By the looks of it, only five people officially said they'd entered !!
I hadn't even seen the instruction to say 'i've joined' until now.
But having been in every tff super-league for the last 20 years, kind of tuck a punt that people would now who i was.

Would be extremely harsh not to pay out. Surely Liverpool getting beat is enough punishment for me for one season

Please advise.

I don’t win either way but declaring your team on a thread has never been a stipulation for previous FISO leagues.

If somebody isn’t on FISO, they should be kicked out long before the prizes are awarded.

Edmo - You will be fine, that rule is more to stop someone taking the code from FISO (which has happened previously) and then expecting to be paid out when they haven’t contributed to FISO.

Did not realise I was supposed to post my teams on the board I used to post as GREENIE years ago but then i was made redundant retired and set up a new posting Id
I believe Ashers has my bank details from SKY FISO 2016/2017 otherwise i can pm them

if you are setting up a mini league for the world cup i will post my teams but as i am in Japan/South Korea from June 11 to June 28 i doubt with the time zone difference i will trouble the leaders

I got my cheque for the couple of club leagues I won on Friday as well.

No e-mail confirmation or even anything else in the envelope apart from a cheque.

Maybe worth contacting them if it hasn't turned up yet.
