TFF World cup "Super" 11
So with the tight starting budget decided it would be worth giving this a go,find a team without those cheap Honduras enablers
Rules are:
To enter:
You must submit an official TFF team dedicated to this competition
Only one team per person please.
League code is ( 8058961 FISO World cup Super 11) please post in this thread to say you are entering.
All teams must be in the league by first kick off 12th June 2014.
After this time the competition will be closed to new entries – sorry.
Entering a team into this league signifies a total acceptance of the rules.
The chairman (Robot) reserves the right to refuse entry into this game.
Your team at the start and for the duration of the tournament must have:
Only players from the "big 11" clubs (Brazil/Argentina/Uruguay/Spain/Germany/Holland/England/Italy/France/Belgium/Portugal).
Your team must apart from the above stipulation follow the terms and conditions of TFF.
Transfers
Declaring your transfers is optional but it adds to the fun and the banter if you post your thoughts.
A penalty of 10 points per game plus the relevant points scored by the player will be deducted from any team with an illegal player.
As the ability to do between match transfers will mean it will not be realistic for the chairmen to track everybody's teams legality, it will be a requirement of the top 3 teams at the end of the competition to post a screen shot of their teams weekly performance showing all players used during the competition.
Your team must be made public before kick off on the 12th of June, the team can only be changed to private from semi final stage onwards.
This comp is only for fun with just the pride of winning (unless someone wants to donate a trophy).
If a TFF Super League prize is won, this will be shared equally between the top five places at the end of the Competition.
You can name your team what ever you want as long as it has your Fiso username in it somewhere.

You may well be right At the time of setting up the choice of the Eleven was more based on the player pricing than the perceived best 11 teams and was also accounting for Mystery Possibly setting up a tiny version and Couldn't quite see England or Ronaldo making a tiny team.Nabby wrote:reading that with the inclusion of Belgium reminded me of that Blackadder line when he is trying to discover the German spy 'I asked if he'd been to one of the great universities, Oxford, Cambridge, or Hull You failed to spot that only two of those are great Universities...That's right! Apols Robot - it was not meant as offence to your footballing knowledge. It was intended as a bit of banter.
I've entered a team NabbysSuper11 - it was not that easy to do and will require surgery prior to ko I fear.

To date this is the most difficult comp in which to stay within budget.

Re: TFF World cup "Super" 11
Picking a team within budget is hard enough, but once it's picked I look at it and think where the hell am i going to use 40 transfers.
Now if there was a single enabler in the team from the tiny21 say Schar at the back, Okazaki in the middle or Emenike up front, I'd be thinking I could make a decent effort at this, but as it is it's too hard for me I'm afraid.
Or its limited to the "super" 11 +1 team of one's choosing, likely candidates being Columbia or Switzerland, again that makes things considerably more flexible.

Re: TFF World cup "Super" 11
No strictly the 11 teams,it is hard I know but that's part of the fun, adding single other players from tiny teams would make the team nearly the same as most normal teams, and don't forget the budget changes to 60ml so I guess most people mayl hold back on transfers until the knockout stage.CptPugwash wrote:Picking a team within budget is hard enough, but once it's picked I look at it and think where the hell am i going to use 40 transfers.

I've entered 3 different FF comps and have 8 teams in TFF plus a few FISO based comps and I have totally confused myself! I don't really like these short format games as they need too much attention but I had to use my credits.
I did a tinker today and that Mexican fella must have sneaked in.
I will take a look and change it
