Although I've no viable proposal this week,a few thoughts for the pot:
1. Ideally we could do with another Arsenal & another Chelsea player for their double GW's, e.g. Arsenal's Rosicky 8.6 for Bentley,but we can't afford this.
2.I would have proposed ADEBAYOR(for McCARTHY)but for Ade's ban,but again we could not have afforded him, and I think both Clichy and Agger are worth keeping,so don't see where to raise cash at present,to go for either BERBATOV 8.2(away at West Ham)or Andy JOHNSON(8.6)
3. I would not sell in-form DROGBA to buy dearer & out of form HENRY
4.Again,though we'll have to sell BRIDGE when Ashley's fully fit,who would we get to replace Bridge for 4.0(up last night to 4.1) ?
5. To summarise,unless someone like krispdafunk is cooking up a brilliant WILDCARD move,I'd just look to sell McCARTHY for someone,but who ?

Bank = 0.5m
1) Anelka (8.7) -> Berbatov (8.2)
BW have to face AR, CH & MU before the season ends and face an improving BR this week.
Berbatov was stunning last week and Spurs face West Ham (a) next , the WA, , then RE , both at home. Sell him after that.
2) Hunt (4.7) -> Ireland (4.6)
RE face AR this week and MC have 2x2gws to play. Ireland impressed me last week and he's 0.1 cheaper with 2 extra games.
3) Agger (6.5) -> Carvalho (7.1)
LI face MU this week and AR in GW 31. Agger is subject to rotation.
CH have a cracking run ahead as far as the defence is concerned - PO, MC, SU, WA, TH, WH. I say we risk keeping Bridge but bring the more asssured-of-a-place Carvy in, too.
Bank after triple = 0.5m
With the 2xgw we should recoup all the lost points and probably make a good profit.
The season is drawing to a mediocre close. I'd rather see us take risks to gain glory than slip into mid-table obscurity. If this means gambling a few points then now is the time.
I propose all the above as 3 singles, 3 doubles and a triple.
Oh, and BR face WH next week, so I'd rather hang on to our two Rovers lads.

Flyman,I find that quite an attractive set of proposals and might vote for the triple.
Can you put the prices against each player for us ?
We can't access the selling prices,as you may be aware,but hazarding a guess,and knowing the buying prices of the new players,am I right in thinking that the ins and outs balance out,leaving us with the present 0.5 cash in hand ?

While I appreciate it takes a while longer, non-civil servants can always access 'Transfer History', note at what price a player stood when bought, and work out his current price accordingly.
A bit of a pain, I know, but feasible.
Happy to have added them, though.

Thanks Flyman. That's exactly what I did,only very quickly,in arriving at my estimate of 0.5 cash still left,though it's 0.4 actually( I put Hunt down at our cost of 4.7)so my request was more for the sake of others who might find it too much of a pain to spend time doing the calculationsFlyman wrote:

No, it is 0.5m according to the FPL site --- I see .... my mistake, I'd priced Hunt incorrectly. Soz.grob wrote:Thanks Flyman. If you want to revoke your vote and vote again verbally, I don't have a problem and doubt anyone else would - providing it doesn't become a habit.viddleodge wrote:we have a full squad right now with no injuries and don't see a need for multiple transfers (apart from the obvious windfall if the double pays off). so i went for hunt to ireland.
but now i think that's silly.
ill make some tea.
bickies anyone?
