Does anyone know if UEM had him and Ashton in his squad .....?
You won't need any help keeping up with injuries and club news, would you?
I might know someone who could help a bit.
Contract's in the mail, mate!
Wow! Press officer and Legal Eagle in one day! This club's going places!!!

La Republica bench warmer Leroy Lita has injured his head and got himself arrested in the process. I have bailed him out using 0.1 million of La Republica's Del Fiso's 4.5mill in the bank.
Edit: After talking to Leroy i can confirm his head is ok. His message to the board is "I'm fine. You should see the other fella. Please don't sell me."

Relying heavily on eyewitness reports the La Republica del FISO Artist in Residence paints the scene:
""His arrest follows the alleged assault of a 24-year-old man from Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Haymarket." ITV Sport.
24 year old Brizzel Boy - "'Eeere. You're that Leroyal Lital! Aaaahhhhh! You're sh1t, you are, Lital! Aaaaahhhh!"
LL - (Thump). "Taxi!"*
Self-defence, obviously, but we'll ask our Legal Advisor, redrum, to look into the matter.
(*Artist's impression. May bear no likeness to reality at all.)

i still haven't seen 'em play but i'm not 'over the moon' about reading forwards, personally. reason being, that they have 3 good ones, who will all be vying for position within that team throughout the season.Jonathan wrote: and he is not even that sh1t so far! Does anyone else squint when watching Reading in the Premiership and pretending it is QPR
i much prefer watford's marlon king, who is a goal demon and will always, providing no injury, be a starter in a x-x-1 or x-x-2 formation, and be able to convert.
so, if lita is a flop for a few gw's (which i doubt after only nutting someone in the face) it might be prudent to switch to king (providing budget allows).

UmExcuseMe please can you confirm your transfers each week prior to kick off? I bought in Bent last week also, to make it worse I made him Captain!!! I hold you solely responsible!UmExcuseMe wrote:That's probably my fault. I bought him last week.Flyman wrote:I heard on 5Live this evening that D. Bent has a hamstring injury.

From the Charlton match preview for Newcastle:
...Darren Bent looks sure to come back into the side provided his tight calf/hamstring doesn't cause a problem...

Maybe you should check if UEM has transferred him out!! This will ensure his return!

From both the Charlton and Pompey match previews, Bent should be no problem and Stefanovic has declared himself ready to play.uppompei wrote:I know that it can be unreliable but - the BBC website also confirms that D Bent will be available to play this weekend.UmExcuseMe wrote:No I haven't . I kept McCulloch and ditched Francis tonight (McCulloch's price promptly dropped). However I'm keeping McCulloch on my bench until he starts playing full games again, as I think he'll be great value when (not if) he does.UmExcuseMe wrote:No I haven't . However, I expect McCulloch to start and score this week.

As reported everywhere, Tim Cahill took an early bath on Saturday. Too early for any official confirmation of his absence but it looks bad for the next gameweek.
In lieu of the GW13 (unlucky for some) threads, I'll just ponder on possible transfers. I would love to get Fabregas in but we will need to do a double since I don't think we have enough money to upgrade. Arteta out is an option since Cahill nods in quite a few of his crosses but I can't see who we could get in that price catgeory that will provide the same value. Maybe time to free up some funds for the defence?

i don't mean to sound the wrong way, but it's often a relief for an ff manager to realise that after hearing unfortunate news about a player they find out they've just transfered him out the week before. a sort of reassurance or validation of their movements and thought processes, whether by design or per chance.
in any event poor kenny's in trouble.
