Tell me about. Two 9-pointers leave me bottom of the Premier League and a favourite for relegation already!

Glad I missed it! My APPM (well, after two sets) is just 11.5 so far this season, but can't believe these FA Cup matches only gave an average of 10.1!

6 cup games - guaranteed no draws (which is great for those reeling from Set 3 at the weekend).

Anyone ever got 7 defeats before?

A bit of advance warning, next midweek Matchday 6 will have just 2 sets only and one of those will be an early bonus set which will only be available to pick from for a short while between noon on Saturday 12 January until 2pm on Sunday 13 January. The remaining set will be open until the usual 7pm on Tuesday evening.

If you fancy picking from set 2 and are worried you may forget, I will accept your picks early via PM or email and I'll add them in for you. Just pick from the fixture list and send them to me.

Interesting stats for the mid-week Set 1.

Just one selection for Bury (Abbey Spurs), compared to 62 for Norwich.

Just one selection for Havant and Waterlooville (Deselective  ), compared to 91 for Swansea.

Brave pick Des, out of those 2 games I would have rather opted for Bury than H & W, the magic is still there for the mighty minnows!

A reminder for this weekends Matchday 7, these games will also determine scores for the 3rd round of the FA Cup competition. It's also Round Two of the FISO Cup ( see here for full details ) remember it's single leg sudden death from now on with replays on the following Matchdays if needed.

Here's a list of FISO league teams that haven't picked yet:

BadaBing Lucky7s (FA Cup, FISO Cup)
Honeys Hooters

Used to denote arrogance... In My Not So Humble Opinion

... as supposed to IMO or IMHO.

i.e. I basically think set 3 is/was as good as set 1 and therefore I picked from both and expect to be scoring heavily as a result.

Todays snow whiter has got me out of a bit of a hole after a string of absolute sh*te predictions.

Still looks like a relegation battle or mid table at best unless I can muster up another one

I'm only 7pts ahead of you and in 7th place, just shows how close it is. The Prem is getting tougher each season, which is how it should be, no room for slackers in there. ;)

Nice to see the revamped set 3 is getting alot of interest , 62 pickers this week compared to 68 for set 1.
This is definetly making it a lot more interesting.

Yes, the Premiership set didn't look very attractive this week, started to pick from it as usual then realised I was going for about 5 away teams which I wasn't keen on!

If Championship and League One had been the only alternatives then I'd have stuck with it but the European set gives an interesting second option.
