A late shout for any players yet to enter for this midweeks Matchday 10 (available until 7pm this evening).
There's 2 Sets of International fixtures to pick from. Internationals generally have a good reputation for decent points, so good luck all! 8-)

Generally maybe but not these  The friendlies in Set 1 were too scary and too many of the competitive games were tough to call.

Hope most people skip them as I need to climb a few spots to stay in the Loyalty Cup

I'd especially advise Cloughie's Army that they are really hard and worth avoiding

Well done to Wales with a convincing 4-0 win on Tuesday evening. They were selected 63 times out of 65 (96.9%) so most set 1 pickers will be happy enough with that start.

Too late, I was already in... A clash of different sets would have been interesting, but instead looks like it's totally on Macedonia v Russia!

Edit: It's already been played - the Russians have won it for me! :D

After scoring 8 points in the first round, I've steadily climbed the CL table and sneaked through thanks to a good set 2 this week! :D

Bring it on Forestfan!

Ready to take on the FISO minileague leader then? (Only just noticed that fact!)

Winning that along with promotion and the Cup treble would be a fairly decent season...

Not a bad weekend for most of us.

Well done Cloughies Army hanging on to the no1 spot in the FISO league a hat-trick ahead of Manure_Ited.

Well played also to Honeys Hooters (she must be getting help from a bloke ;) ) new Division 7 leaders and way up in 4th place in the FISO league.

Why oh why did I decide this was a moderately tricky set and skip it? :(

Not only that, now you have to decide when best to pick that extra set. :P :D

Next weekend might look like a better sit-out opportunity, with Sunday's big game taking out the usual two absolute Premiership bankers. Cup commitments will force me to take the gamble though!

I'd already decided that :P - I looked ahead at this midweek's games and thought there are at least two sets here that look nicer than the weekend's Prem set.

I've gone for sets 1 and 3. Pity I can't use them both against forestfan in the cup, on his current form I'll need to!

We're still waiting for Champions Cup teams and The Kop Kings to enter for this midweek, coincindently they're playing against each other.

The entry deadline for Set 1 closes at 5.30pm this evening (due to the early CL kick off). The deadline for Sets 2 and 3 is 7pm.

Edit: Surreal Mildred and The Kop Kings now in.

Very interesting, this is about the closest I've seen to an even split between the three sets!

I've gone with FA Cup set 3 which was the least popular overall but strangely enough the most picked in my division...

Walsall cost me the 7x as well, still the Set 1 results more than make up for that!

Which set did you play in the cup by the way Reds363, if you picked set 3 I think you've still got a game to earn a replay...

I can confirm that reds363 chose Set 3 for his cup score.

Smugness on... I picked set 3 as well.

The Bescott Stadium is on borrowed time however.

This tie going to a replay means my selections this weekend will count for three cups as well as the league... and not a set you would want to rely on either!

A late Stephen Taylor winner scraped me through the Champions Cup by a whole point  ...the defence of my title continues!

Ian - I'm away from 8am Saturday morning until about 8pm Tuesday night. I take it this means I'll miss the quarter final selections? Is there any way I can pick them in advance?

:?

I have just PMed you the fixtures, so pick your choices from them and send them back to me. I'll make sure they are added.

Whoa! Some pressure, will it tell...?

I'm chuffed to have got a replay in this tie, I'm glad I nominated set 3 rather than the disastrous set 1!

Best of luck for the weekend FF!
