Cheers lip. I hope I can do us all proud. Good luck Murf.
You're actually playing my mate from the pub, so it's a win/win situation with whoever goes through.
So I meet my mate tonight and congratulate him on getting to the final, and he doesn't even know that he was still in it!

He thought he got knocked out in the last round

Barnsley have put me through the wringer tonight:

0-1 :(
1-1 :?
2-1 :D
2-2 :?
2-3 :(
3-3 :?
4-3 :D
....and extra time ongoing......

EDIT - Yes, 5-3 after extra time :D . Thats 5 out of 5 for me tonight - and nash0819 has dropped some points (6?).

Maybe I can still regain my FISO league title after all.........

A pity the toffees let me down for a 7xW, but well happy with 18pts from the midweek set 1 games. :D

Looks like murf will regain the FISO title unless there is a major surprise in either of the last 2 matchdays.

nash is only 18 behind and is playing his catch up game on this week's UEFA games. Haven't checked how he is doing but even if its below average he can still catch me on the last game.

I've got a slim chance of the All Team Table but.....

Nah, you are 18 behind but have 6 pts from your 2 games so far in the UEFA and your other 5 are all at home. You'll be thereabouts whether behind or ahead and still have the chance of a 7 up.

[edit] Half time, or just about, Palermo 2 up with the other two games drawn. If anyone is going to let me down for the 7xW, I reckon it will be Boro with their second string side.

GET IN THERE! 21:35 Goal - Lens 2 (Issam Jomaa 90) Sampdoria 1

[edit] Doh! Had somehow convinced myself I needed this for the 7xW. Was overjoyed when the above result came in. Now I realise it will probably go against me. DOH! :?

We've had a couple of joint winners before, but never with a 28-28 scoreline. Well done to Rudder Rovers 2nd XI for his 1st cup win (and probable promotion).

19 teams managed a 7xW this midweek, a timely boost as the end of season approaches. Well done Nashy Gnashers going top of the FISO league with 1 game to go. Sorry murf, it seems I put the kiss of death on your hopes for glory this season.

The FISO teams that managed a 7xW on Mdy 18 were:

PL
The Kop Kings

D1
AVIT Utd
Manure Ited

D3
NOMARX

D4
Nashy Gnashers

Congratulations to MarkR who has won Division 3 and is guaranteed at least a share of the FA Cup. Well done mate. :D

I think I've already done enough to get promoted with a game in hand. 8)

Welcome aboard Karrde, the Matchday 20 fixtures are the last of Season 9, so don't worry too much about your score this midweek. The new Season 10 kicks off next weekend when all scores will be re-set to 0.

Good luck.

Just 1 set of fixtures left for Season 9 this midweek.

Some teams finished their seasons this weekend and I can confirm the following successes for FISO players from Season 9:

D1 title winners will be either Manure Ited or AVIT Utd
Murfs Mob needs a 7xW this midweek to take the D2 title (good luck)
D3 title winners and FA Cup winners are NOMARX
D4 title winners are Nashy Gnashers
The FISO league title will go to Nashy Gnashers unless Murfs Mob get a 7xW this midweek.

Congratulations to all winners.

I've achieved my season aim of promotion and can still win Div 2, the All Team Table and the FISO league. OK it needs a 7 up midweek but......
