After further research I'm going for The Welsh to win.
New Edit
Wales 1
Ireland 4
England 18.

I mean, how long is it since all three away teams have won on a 6 nations weekend?

I'm being a geek now. I've found one and still a few to go through

March 18th 2006
Italy 10 – 13 Scotland
Wales 16 – 21 France
England 24 – 28 Ireland

Yep, there's just one.

I think there are now 25 entries.
(if I have correctly counted what is a new entry and what is an edit - feel free to edit original posts to make changes, makes it easier for me)

So with the best 16 scores going through there will be 9 knocked out (plus 1 for each eleventh hour entry to come). I've been knocked out at this stage for the last 2 years. Hopefully no hat trick this weekend.

Those of us who picked Wales (14-0 up at half time) will surely be pleased to hear there are 10 Scotland pickers on here. Is that 15 names pencilled in for round 2???

5 French picks so not quite so clear cut. Not quite so much variation in picks for the last match of the weekend though

Oh dear
Sport Billy -8 -6 16 5 32 37

With a big spread in England winning margin (12-40) there is scope for anybody to qualify. Even Sport Billy will triumph with those extra 10pts for an exact score (just.... by winning a 4 way tie-break for 16th)

It was indeed a stupid game that wasn't proper unless I got knocked out in round 1 but as I am through it seems to be a somewhat changed, more special, game this year.

Ra ra ra we're going to chase the egg!

Yer all just lucky that I couldn't find this string in time to enter this year ... it means that some lesser mortal might have a chance of winning ... (dammit)

Well, apparently there have been murmurings, after the banning of grid girls in F1 and walk on girls in darts, that these draws are a tad sexist being loaded with eye candy with Kylie and an often almost half as gorgeous fellow lady ball fondler. This talk is of course garbage as they merely balance the inherent sexism in the other direction of having me hosting proceedings. Eye candy all round for everyone - what can be sexist about that???

So for round 2 Kylie will once again be drawing the home teams and has brought along a glamorous guest for drawing the away teams. A big welcome to murf's 6 Nations Egg Chasing Predictions Knockout Cup 2018 to Katie Ormerod who has taken a break (no pun intended) from her Winter Olympics training. So lets halt this PC discussion and delve into the velvet bag. Here goes....

ROUND 2 DRAW
murf v trampie
Rookster v Arabian Knight
TheBigLewandowski v jimmyching
Spinynorman v bluenosey
nffc v Windy Behind
Moist von Lipwig v brencarr
Boddington v robot
Minitoff v morganb

ROUND 2 FIXTURES

Saturday 10th February 2018
Ireland v Italy 14:15
England v Wales 16:45

Sunday 11th February 2018
Scotland v France 15:00

TEMPLATE
Ireland 35
England 6
Scotland 3

(template is also my picks, now editted......)

Oooh ... nasty one for murf ... now is the time to get the prayer beads out, murf,
Dunno if Trampie has mastered this art form yet, but he rocks in the Prediction leagues ...

I wont call him a sheep sh*gger just yet, cos that would be distasteful ...
and a tad premature ... hang on, do I need to delete that ... the premature bit?

You might wonder who the hurler on the ditch is ... Yep, Mick MacPaddywack is sour grapes that he's not in the comp
