The way the draw has played out ie the 1st and second favorite in every group playing each other in the 3rd game has created this situation where we are all going for the obvious as to many gambles early on are a bit risky.
Was the tournament designed like that?
Anyway looks like its down to the worst permorming joker this round.

Edit just had a closer look and this round is pot 1 against pot 2, which were based on seedings, but the seedings for some strange reason have placed senegal/ cameroon/morocco /egypt in pot 3!

All 4 matches now have jokers played so we are all effectively just betting on 1 team and wanting our other 3 to lose!

Rounds 5 and 6 are potentially more interesting as they are the final group games when some teams are already through or out meaning some odd results could occur. Or just 4 more draws....

Well Dr Congo is beating the Ivory Coast which will upset a few Ivorian jokers.

Even though the bookies thought IC were as good a call as any I gave it a swerve as Doc C was the only winner in the first games. Can he hang on?

Those on 5 will be saved if Ghana or Senegal lose. If Ghana draw (and Senegal win) then we will lose 7 people. If Senegal draw (and Ghana don't lose) then there will be 10 in last place so they will be saved as a majority. Similarly if Ghana and Egypt both lose then there will be 9 saved that way.

Win and 4 go out. Lose and 6 go out. A draw would mean 10 equal last so they get a reprieve but start the next rd with a 0.5pt handicap.
