THIS IS A COMPETITION TO SEE WHICH SET OF 8 TEAMS (4 from Champions League and 4 from Europa League) CAN SCORE THE MOST GOALS THROUGH TO THE 2 FINALS IN BASEL & MILAN IN MAY NEXT YEAR

Penalty shoot-outs are included
The draws take place on 27th and 28th August and the first matches are on 15th September. All teams will play 6 Group matches before Christmas and the ko phase begins in February.

There are 4 'pots' for each league and to enter you choose one team from each pot. Those 8 teams carry your colours throughout until they are eliminated. The teams from the Champions League who do not qualify for the ko stages continue to qualify in Europa
The teams in Champions 'pots' will be known late Wednesday evening and in Europa late Thursday.
Watch this thread, now in a different forum (to get maximum FISO viewers)

PRIZE FUND Will be declared on 15th September before the first matches and be dependent on the level of support from FISO.

It looks likely that MAN UTD will be in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE draw on Thursday. Full details of the 32 teams in the 4 pots will be here in the morning.
SOUTHAMPTON will play their second EUROPA leg on Thursday. The draw for the 4 (12 team pots is on Friday)

Wait until you have full details of both comps before making your selections.

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW IS COMPLETE You will be able to think about your fancies for that for 24 hours.

The 'pots' for both leagues will come all together on Friday evening. In addition to the goals element you will be choosing 2 teams in each comp who you think will be in the final.

the draw for the EUROPA LEAGUE will begin shortly. SOUTHAMPTON missed the boat so it is up to SPURS LIVERPOOL and CELTIC to represent British interests. The drafts are ready for you to make your GOALS GALORE selections. Look in a little later.

sorry if the multiple threads are slightly confusing but I think you all get the drift. Just make your choices and hope your chosen 8 do the business with a load of goals.
I will nudge the site along on a regular basis before the kick off on 15th September and if there at least 32 runners by then there will be a CASH prize of the same sum. You all have a week's rest over the international break and there will be a TFF comp (and probably others) shortly to add interest.

so far all the entries for pot 4 are plumping for WOLFSBURG (where KDB was based before moving to the Etihad yesterday) There might be some support for ASTANA the newcomers to the Champions League. They are in Kazakhstan more Asia than Europe and is trhe longest travel distance for the 3 clubs opposing them in the Group Stages.
Anyone for ASTANA ?

MSN UTD are 20/1 to win Champions and BORUSSIA DORTMUND 8/1 for the Europa but this is about scoring goals. There is almost certain to be a couple of high scorers in pot 4 of Europa, but which ones ?
