So exactly half the field have blown their joker and have no points.

There is a rule stating that last place can be saved if more than half the field are due to be evicted so they would need to drag in bspittles or kingcurtley.

Of the 9 is the deepest poo: 7 have backed Cape Verde and 2 have backed Zambia - if their team loses in that game they are out. That much is simple. Are they out if they draw? That depends....

The 2 in some poo still:

kingcurtley will only join those going out (as a Zambia picker, assuming they lose) if Tunisia also lose. His joker will save him if they draw.

If Tunisia win, then bspittles will also go out unless his Cape Verde win.

If Tunisia win and Cape Verde v Zambia is a draw then there will be 10 teams on 4 (inc bspittles) and they will all be safe (but start the next round on -0.5). If Tunisia don't win, bspittles is safe. A draw in Cape Verde v Zambia would then see 9 people going out.....
