I was surprised by my position - having missed ten seasons!!



The scoring is flawed and needs revamping imo - all ten Prem players get points, but only the top two in the other leagues. Play-off winners get a point as well, and that could be the player who finished eighth (or even lower) in his league getting a point. If a player finishes in mid table in the top flight, he gets 5 to 7 points every season, for doing moderately well.
I think the top six in each league should get points, or they should be awarded for wins no matter which league you're in.
Now I have more time on my hands I might have a go at revising how this works....?

I think you're right there Jester and I think my position is one that is a good example of this. I've only done four FISODAS seasons (one and a third PL seasons) and yet I've been lucky so far and I was playing off for a PL position this weekend - sadly didn't succeed (but well played spencer and it was nice to be 'in it' all season)
So after originally going for a place in the new conference set up, I aint done too bad and yet I have only 6 points and as you say some PL players who might have one moderate season get that many
It doesn't worry me at all as this game is for fun (and I do enjoy it) but to back you up, it is a good example of the scoring situation I think...
...so yep Jester go for it.
Think perhaps PL players should earn more points overall (perhaps double for the achievers in that div) but other 'successes' should perhaps get points too. Then again of course to counter that argument, successful players will eventually get points if they do reach the PL so I can see both sides of it

The list of players I used was the one from the Hall of Fame sheet - if you've a score of less than one, you're not on it. Rick Spangle and Smurfy's Paw are in the same boat and there may be others - I'll try to get around to sorting it out one day....
