Well, after waiting about 25 seasons to win this, question now is will I have a Fergiesque run, or more likely be a Ranieiri.

I think it was gutshot who recently pointed out nathan247's long unbroken run in the top flight, without ever winning it until now.

He was promoted at the end of Season 13 in May 2009 Since then his finishes have been 7,3,6,5,4,7,7,2,7,7,3,2,7,2,1... not even a relegation play-off or reprieve via a drop-out, but 6 times in the narrow escape position of 7th! It's certainly a hard-earned first title, I'll have to do the full stats some time and see if it is the longest run in the top division we've ever seen.

Moist von Lipwig takes his first major FISODAS trophy with the Cup and combines it with promotion to the Premiership. The two of them will do battle in the Incidental Cup next week, and the Premiership and Champions Cup next season!

I'm hungover. Can anyone confirm the following? Going in to today's games it looks to me as if:
1. Jester is promoted. Well done.
2. GregsEggs is virtually guaranteed promotion in 2nd, but there are a few scenarios
- Stuani scores twice and Siggy blanks: GreggsEggs wins the league. TBL takes the play-off spot from me
- Stuani scores once and Siggy blanks: GregsEggs promoted (as champion on goal difference?), I take 3rd
- In the highly unlikely scenario that Siggy scores a hattrick and Stuani picks up splinters/scores once: Jester wins the League, I take 2nd (by dint of the bonus goal for winning against a Bonus), GregsEggs takes the playoff spot. TBL misses out.

So in short, I can cope with a Stuani goal. It'd ensure me the draw and TBL the win. TBL draws level with me on points but misses out on goal difference.
Stuani being on the bench is helpful!

Llorente missing out was not really a factor in the race for 3rd. My opponent and TBLs opponent both captained him so effectively neutralised his impact.

Hmmm - heard on Radio 5 Live in the car that I was down!
Knew it was bad news when Rob Mason disallowed my goal for offside on the sayso of a crosseyed lineo! Even MotD agreed it was a perfectly good goal and that was the one player... never mind effing officals. Anyway that cost me the draw yesterday.

I think I will raise a new thread on FISODAS calling for video evidence to be introduced. Just image if FISO beat the FA in the race for new technology in sport!

Never mind I get to play my old mate Jester next season - and now the cricket season is here I don't have to worry about FISODAS next weekend. Every cloud .....
