The CB is probably the best bonus but oddly enough it's the one that always works worst for me.

I have never won (that I recall) playing the CB.

It's weird isn't it.

It must somehow addle your thinking and stops you picking a team as carefully as you usually would.

Last season I think I lost all three games where I used my bonus... and with that in mind, take this with an appropriate health warning, but...
Defence boost bonus can be just as effective as CB if used to 'insure' against a cheap defence, allowing more expensive forwards.
SOF is not inherently weakest, but does have lower certainty of success. Your SOF banker scores and the doubling up puts you well on your way to a win. But few score more than 1 in 2* so there is just as much chance of it not counting for anything

Must say a huge thanks for running the game- it's a bit tricky from all the way in Australia getting as much info and news in this time zone, but this game helps my FPL tremendously. league 1- I'm excited!
