i had the above e-mail to my personal addy rather than a hotmail one.

i've asked them for details of how they got my e-mail and threatened to report them to the authorities if i don't get a full explanation and stated no account will be opened in my name and any transactions would be fraudulent.

is this just normal nonsense and have any of you heard of them?

cheers,

andy

Sounds like the normal online casino offer and the wording they use.'Thankyou for your interest' is what spam offers say a lot which is strictly inaccurate 99% of the time.Depends what sort of spam filter you have.

Worth seeing if they do reply to you I'd have thought? If they dont then just delete as spam. If they do i suppose you could engage in conversation with them etc and see if its something you'd like to join?

Does sound like normal spam though, i get loads of my nigerian uncles dying on a weekly basis, offering me millions of $'s to compensate for my loss :(

thanks guys,

i hoped that was the case.

i use namesco who are normally pretty good as i get virtually no spam, although on one occasion they treated e-mails from a good mate as spam  and i had to get him unblocked

Got the same email on one of fiso's email addresses at 22:24 last night so it is spam (I get a lot of spam on fiso's various email addresses - which perversely can help me confirm that emails received on personal email accounts is indeed spam). They did use my full name in the email so it's come from someone's database  .
