Re: APAT team event - Stoke = 1st 2nd Feb
Right, that's me booked.
I've done it separately as I'm staying sat and sun nights and the missus is coming too.
Am trying to persuade her to play some cash (she plays online a bit) but she's more interested in going to Manchester to shop
£25 a night per room is a great deal

I'm trying to sort something out with work but in the meantime if someone wants the place then it's probably best to let them take it. Will keep you updated.
Panic over.
I've managed to get someone to come in early for me on 1st Feb. I'm booked on the 0946 chuffer from Euston, arriving Stoke-On-Trent at midday.
Is everyone booking the same hotel as Kiz?

Digs - the premier inn + taxi is cheaper than anywhere else. Might even be able to persuade the other half to ferry us in with our car

Happy with any colour but make mine XXL please.
Does this mean the team is set then?

Blue, Green, all good, not fussed.
That hotel looks good, how long is that offer on for?

Re: APAT team event - Stoke = 1st 2nd Feb
what are others doing for accommodation?
The same Premier Inn? Just on Sat night, or Fri and Sat (with poker/drinks on Fri?).
I'll book the rooms if people let me know plans but that £50 offer might disappear tomorrow?

Re: APAT team event - Stoke = 1st 2nd Feb
Can't believe your all going to Stoke - and I'm 12000 miles away
If you need any help on decent pubs or where to go for a bit
While your there look up 'Blythe Bridge' or 'Caverswall' that's where I was brought up
Blythe Bridge has a train station (2 stops down from stoke station about 15 mins on the train) and is 500m from my mum & dad's house - where I lived before I left for Oz - straight up Caverswall Road
Unfortunately my 'local' - " THE SMITHFIELD " which would of been opposite the station is gone
But if you walk to Forsbrook about 15 mins - you get the Roebuck (proper man's drinking pub - just locals (my dad's pub & really friendly and real ales) and next door the Butcher's Arms which has been completely refurbished and by all accounts really nice for food & drinks - this was our football pub - where we played on a sunday morning (think we formed in 1987) - got shut down for 5 years but has just reopened in the last 6 months and has got very good reviews online and more importantly from all my mates ......
Anyway Enjoy Stoke - (might be worth contacting Suzykins - if anyone needs his email - i'll check with him and give it with his permission)
Karrde - your a lucky bloke getting everyone to 'our land'

8pm start £40+ £5 buy-in, £20 rebuy OR add-on. One re entry 10,000 + 10,000 chips, 20 minutes clock throughout.

Tom,
After our phone coversation the other night I think its best if I get the train down to Stoke on Trent station. Its only 40 mins. I could do with an offer of a lift to somewhere near to home on the Sunday night though to Bolton/Manchester if anyone could oblige?
Just need the address of the Hotel now. Cheers.
