TFF chit chat 30th November and 1st December
SATURDAY 30TH NOVEMBER
Newcastle 12:30 Man City
And so it begins... A bumper week of Premier League football. The early Saturday fixture features Newcastle hosting Manchester City. Newcastle are still lurking around the foot of the table whereas City are ensconced in the top 4. Aguero is out for this one – cue the hokey cokey music! The Magpies are a bit toothless this season.
Burnley 15:00 Crystal Palace
The first of the 3pm games takes place at Fortress Turf Moor where Crystal Palace are the visitors. Zaha scored last weekend, his first of the season. Burnley have Ch. Wood and Barnes up front and a miserly defence so will be favourites here.
Chelsea 15:00 West Ham
It’s Saturday, it's 3pm, it's a London derby! West Ham are the visitors to Stamford Bridge where they get to take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea FC. You would expect the Blues to be victorious and for Pelegrini to be sacked in the morning. Chelsea are 4th and have a lot of value picks in their side though Abraham is a doubt.
Liverpool 15:00 Brighton
To Anfield next where Liverpool welcome Brighton. Liverpool won again last weekend but luck appears to be on their side as they are not playing exceptionally well. Assume Salah is fit for this game. Brighton are an improved side but will probably be aiming for damage limitation today.
Tottenham 15:00 Bournemouth
The One's first home League game has Bournemouth as the visitors. It is too early to know what team Jose will pick and who his favourite players will be but obviously Kane will be there trying to blow some doors off. Bournemouth might need to take some rear guard action with Fraser and Wilson in the side.
Southampton 17:30 Watford
Saturday’s late game takes us to deepest darkest Hampshire where underneath the floodlights at St. Mary’s Watford are the visitors. This could either be a dire game or a barnstorming relegation battle to the death between two of the League’s weaker sides.
SUNDAY 1ST DECEMBER
Norwich 14:00 Arsenal
Sunday afternoon at Carrow Road. Arsenal are the visitors to Norwich City. The Canaries registered their first win in ages last weekend so home advantage against an under par Arsenal side could see them register another win. Arsenal are reliant on Aubameyang and Lacazette up top as their defence is porous. Emery WAS awful, but I LIKED him.
Wolves 14:00 Sheff Utd
Sheffield United travel to Wolverhampton for the other 2pm game. Sheffield United did well in a topsy turvy match against Man Utd last time out. Wolves have found some form of form recently and Jimenez is looking back to his best after Thursday evening
Leicester 16:30 Everton
Who'd have thunk it – Leicester are up to their old tricks again, trying to win the Premier League with Jamie Vardy banging them in for fun. Everton are a side who on paper should be comfortably in mid-table but on grass are relegation material. Sacked in the morning?
Man Utd 16:30 Aston Villa
Sacked in the morning? United squandered an early lead in the Europa League so the pressure must be on at Ole Trafford. Villa are a spirited team with enough quality to not be awed by the venue or the opposition.

Re: TFF chit chat 30th November and 1st December
Some tempting Aguero and Abraham replacements on the teamsheets there.
Personally I'm tempted to go for Joe Linton AND Almiron

I've done mine (after far too much deliberation), you're suggestions were just too tempting murf.

Re: TFF chit chat 30th November and 1st December
GOAL (Newcastle United) Jetro Willems - Assisted byMiguel Almiron
GOAL (Man City) Raheem Sterling - Assisted by David Silva
Just seen them. Definitely KCs. No 2nd KCs.
My tip of Almiron coming good. Shame I went for Joe Linton......

Happy with a KDB goal but I think Ederson is finally b*ggering off from my team tomorrow after all that.

Liverpool 1-0 VVD (TAA)
Header from free kick so only 1 KC (I think).
Nice points for my Liverpool block before the inevitable happens.

Re: TFF chit chat 30th November and 1st December
More points for the Liverpool blocks (ahem)
Spurs 1-0 Alli(Son)
"One ball long, one stunned touch and one precise finish. And Spurs are one-nil up with their first shot on target."
EDIT 2nd KC if the touch was Son's not Alli's??????
EDIT2 Seems so - "Toby Alderweireld pings a long straight ball forward and Alli taps in after a brilliant touch from Son Heung-min, into his path."

Re: TFF chit chat 30th November and 1st December
All a bit slow so have been looking up defenders getting hat tricks (has never happened in Premier League) and came across a very random fact that I didn't know.....
Terry Butcher and Pat Nevin are cousins

Nevin went on trial at Ipswich and turned us down.... I guess Butcher was there or had just gone at the time.
