Sanchez and Jota

Post by cnkp21 »

What’s everyone doing with these two?

I’m tempted to ditch Sanchez today for Hazard and I’m also tempted to get rid of Jota. I haven’t got any extra funds for the Jota switch, however I’m thinking Pereyra or Maddison. Although Wolves and Man U fixtures are generally ok. Do reckon Jota and Sanchez could come good or do you reckon they are lost causes.

Both went from my team a couple of weeks ago ... Sanchez for Mane and Jota to Maddison. Jota as he's technically an enabler, might be worth keeping but get rid of Sanchez; United look like a disaster zone and he's looked poor for months.

Sanchez has already gone for me. There is something wrong at United, and especially something wrong with Sanchez. As soon as he was not playing he went, he is too expensive to hope htere will be a sudden change and he will suddenly be the player of two years ago.

By contrast, Jota seems to be playing well and part of the team, he just hasn't scored the points. He still seems the prospect he was before the season so i see no reason to change because it hasn't clicked in 3 games. He is also fairly cheap and I don't see a must have player at the same price or cheaper. Of course, if his place looks less certain, that will change.

Sanchez - sell
Jota - hold (but an acceptable tinker (in or out) if downgrading to afford a genuine upgrade elsewhere)

Had them both at the start. Both long gone now.

Would keep Jota and you should have ditched Sanchez when he missed the Brighton game so I’d be tempted to keep him now.

United have a decent run of fixtures and he COULD be a great differential.

Very much agree with this. He is in a few of my teams and if you’ve stuck with him this far and other 3 games feels about right

I’m thinking Hazard for Sanchez. I wish I had brought Mane in now!

Jota will go for me now. 2ppg is acceptable for someone sub 2.5m but not 3.2. Add in two very early substitutions and the subs doing well and I can see him being in and out of team.

Pererya for me on age and a full Prem season under his belt. Young players more susceptible to rotation? Leicester also seem to have plenty of options in attacking midfield.

I had a mare yesterday and missed the 3pm kick off to bring Hazard in so I will give Sanchez another game. I’m going to bring Pereya in today.

I’m also thinking of ditching B Silva after the international break. Who would be the best option with 4.3m to spare. Alonso, Mendy or Mitro?
