A very high risk you'll get less points!

But I will save considerably more money, that can be invested into better players, to gain more points!

At least, that's how the plan would go if I had the balls ... Mane in for Sanchez!

1-0 Milner (pen. Salah). First time I've been glad Sakho is a clumsy oaf!

If I'm going to lose clean sheet points for my Palace defenders it could at least be for someone who I've got in a team.

Salah doesn't seem quite his imperious best tonight.

Oh dear Wan Bissaka sent off, last man. Thankfully only be a one match ban. Salah not a popular man at Selhurst Park!

I've got Wan-Bissaka in every team I've got. I'd have put him into my cricket team if I could've.

To be fair to the lad he had a brilliant game up until the sending off. He looks a very good player.

Even the foul was probably a sensible decision.

Possible 2nd KC for VVD but a long way out.

Any chance the red card for Obi Wan Bassaka will be overturned? As Sky pointed out, Salah had lost control before the foul so not a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Quote from BBC text updates:

Virgil van Dijk named man of the match. Good call. When he empties his pockets tonight he'll have to remember to deposit Christian Benteke back in the Palace dressing room.

Just noticed something about TFF Live.

We criticise them for only showing assists and so Salah only gets one on the videprinter (as no assists for pens) BUT on their scoring he has both KCs (8pts).

Thought it had underscored me but my 184 is actually correct....

Palace played well tonight and deserved a point. Benteke is poor. The game was decided by Salah throwing him self on the floor on two occasions. Sums up modern football really.

Palace deserved nothing. The game was decided by Liverpool having over sixty percent possession, away from home.. And creating significantly more chances.

184 isn't bad at all Murf! I thought I'd done ok with Mane and Robertson but instead of being 31 points outside top 100 I'm now 40 so there we go. Best team 138.

I'm not sure Coady is going to last too long in my teams and they have Man City visiting them at the weekend.

Shame my best proper team is only on 127!

I'm keeping Coady for now. No point ditching unless a cheap replacement is significantly better. During tonight's game I was wondering if that was Wan Bissaka. Obviously not just yet...

High: 74 (best - 154)
Low: 43

Feels like I’ve flown the traps this year (my scores after 2 weeks are at least 30% up on last year? Maybe more) but my teams are not as high in the pecking order as I expected (as other on here have said).

Is scoring that much higher this year (don’t have stats) and were the high scoring players more predictable to start with? A lot of high scoring teams will be underpinned with Mendy & Robertson & Auguero who jumped out for most of my teams.

Think piling into CityPool was always going to get you up there but slightly tempered by not getting the exact combo right. Add in a Richarlison or two (not me) and high scores not that hard to achieve for some. Even I’ve had a decent start this year.

My only teams better than my Eggcup team are my FISO 500 hare team and a Liverpool block (sadly without Aguero). My Eggcup starting XI only has 72 points though (the worst on FISO). Added 50 with 4 transfers (3 LFC and Pogba).

55pts/week won the title last year. After 2 weeks (2*55=)110 would put you around 34,000th so far.
