Damn hadn’t realised Ederson hadn’t started a single preseason game.

Kane starts. I'm now a bit scared. It all makes sense - typically slow starter, world cup exertions ... bet he scores a few now!

Re: single entrant stories
Already needing a transfer, took a gamble on Guaita after advice from a Palace fan quoting he'll be number one.

Re: single entrant stories
Sshhh.
My opening score could have been so much better. Had Mane in my team up until Friday and somehow ended up with Sanchez instead (don't ask). I was trying to get on Friday night to take Sanchez out but couldn't. Also did the hokey-cokey with Richarlison aswell.

Re: single entrant stories
65 for me. It could have been better with Robinson instead of Van Dijk as I kept swapping them thinking that over the season Van Dijk would get more points in set piece plays.

Re: single entrant stories
65 for me and already looking to ship Sanchez to anyone (probably Mane) ... Liverpool play Monday next weekend as well, so might be ideal timing.
Everyone else did as expected really. Attacking defenders looks like the way to go again.

Re: single entrant stories
Hello again fellow singletons, here we go again
I finished 2nd in my super league last year, bah, so am really gunning for top spot this year.
I'm usually a slow starter but have had my best start for years, and top my super league table already, with a very solid 79 points. I'm playing 451 (still wish I could select 541) with Sergio up top, and plan on using no transfers until the International break, but no doubt a spanner or two will be thrown into the workings of that plan.
Good luck everyone, and roll on next weekend. This is more like it, World Cup football just doesn't cut it.

Re: single entrant stories
Here again chaps! I'm focused more on FPL this year after winning over £160 last season in my minileague. Strangely the benefit of this was it took me all of 5 mins to pick a decent (IMHO) telegraph side.

ROBERTSON
MENDY
DIRTY SANCHEZ

Re: single entrant stories
I was happy with 56 points for my single team before I read this thread. Any weekly score over 50 points is good imo.

58 for my single entrant
I’m already wondering if it’s too early for the Sanchez to Kane swap

Re: single entrant stories
So tempted to bite the bullet this weekend and ditch Sanchez for Sterling. Wanted rid of Sanchez last Friday but couldn't get on the site and just can't see him scoring big points. Sterling could rack up some big scores with Man City's fixtures.

He could also warm the bench. Do you dare play city midfield Russian roulette? Not for me.

Re: single entrant stories
Sitting on my hands this week so can just assess up till international break (/touchwood). No reason to do anything yet I feel.
