What are your thoughts on Ozil at 4.9?

Rather have Sane, at the same price

I hear you but Sane more likely to be rotated isn't he?

Not at the moment. Picks and chooses his games. Would need to have a strong start and remain regular for consideration IMO. May be possible under a new regime.

I have Ozil in my team, for the following reasons
1. He scored over 100 points last year in an underperforming team, which I expect to perform much better.
2. He's retired from International football so will play less games and therefore in theory be better for Arsenal.
3. He has a point to prove after all that Germany nonsense.
4. He now has a full season of Aubameyang to assist.
5. I'm an Arsenal supporter.

Emery has said he will rotate the captaincy between 5 players this season, Ozil will be one of those.

He was in the set Eggcup team this year and has already departed a few of those teams including mine (where we only get 2 pre-season transfers).
So, no, not on my shopping list! Need the cash elsewhere.

Nailed on and at 4.9m he isn't a bad shout, but we just don't know enough about this new look Arsenal team yet to know if he represents good value.

Re: Is Mesut Ozil worth picking?
I've been looking at him actually - was surprised at just how few points he got last year. PPG of 3.92, same as Gross, less than Pogba, considerably less than Sane.
You'd imagine he'll have a point to prove after this summer, and will have the extra rest from international breaks. And you'd fancy him to get a few more assists with Aubemayang in there now. But it's a gamble, as he's never been a big goal scorer, and there's players around that price that you'd fancy to be better PPG unless Ozil really steps up - the big question with, say, Sane is whether rotation eats into a better PPG.

Ozil is a gamble, but then again everything (apart from Salah and Aguero) feels like a gamble at the moment. Never been this uncertain about my single entrant team this close to the start of the season before...

Aguero is a gamble - could be on the bench this weekend with Jesus starting up front for all we know!
