TFF chit chat 19th May

Post by morganb »

SATURDAY 19TH MAY

FA Cup Final

Chelsea 17:15 Man Utd

Breaking news - FA Cup final: Duke of Cambridge to miss match because of Royal Wedding. Hope you've got some transfers left to cover this shocking revelation. Meanwhile at Wembley, it's Jose's Man United versus Conte's Chelsea. Utd have injury doubts over Martial but Lukaku might be fit. Lingard has a good record in cup competitions. Will Carrick get a Cup Final cameo? Is this going to be Conte's last game in charge of Chelsea? Will Hazard be away in the summer? Expect this to be a tight match. Good luck everyone in the final TFF game of the season.

So two days to decide whether to bring in Princess Michael of Kent or Viscount Linley. It'll be a last minute decision I reckon.

What, they're going to the wedding too, are you sure? Poo.

If anyone has Thomas Markle, they should get rid immediately, apparently he won't even be on the bench.

Apparently Charles is coming off the bench to take his place. I won't be picking him though as I don't rate his chances of scoring.

Apparently they are going for a single target man up front in the form of Justin Welby.

He'll be supported by Windsor and Markle (Markle probably won't last the distance and will be replaced by another Windsor just before the end).

Prince Harry to score late on, James Hewitt with the key contribution and Harry Kane claiming to have got a touch.

As long as John Terry doesn't celebrate by running down the hotel stairs wearing just a condom....

All other things being equal, would you rather have a Chelsea attacker or a Man U defender tomorrow?

With an acknowledge to murf's above post, I'd be looking for those Man U strikers wearing condoms as they'll be confident that they're going to score on the big day,

I'm finding it difficult to identify a player I want to waste my final transfer on! I naturally want attacking players, but the only Chelsea attacker I'd want is Hazard. If you don't have him (I don't) I suspect he'll be my choice..

I am in exactly the same position and will probably get Hazard. Sanchez does like the FA Cup though

I've already got Sanchez, had him for his run of 2 pointers and no shows, brilliant. Agreed that he likes a final. Lingard enjoys Wembley too. Going to stick with Hazard though. In what I suspect will be a turgid game separated by one moment of quality I'd want the player on the pitch most capable of doing that (though I suspect Jose will get Herrera to kick him up in the air for 90 minutes)

Good luck everyone looking for prizes, can't see Simon losing from here. As for myself I will count myself lucky if I hold on to top 5. I've got a slight interest in the monthly though so may still be a happy day but sadly won't be watching as I promised I'd take the family to Magic Weekend . Clearly never worked out the dates before that was agreed .😡

Can't see it anywhere in the thread but a footnote from yesterday's press conferences was that ddg would start not Romero.

That's a nice bonus. Never quite understood previously why you'd not play your best team in a final.

Sickener for the guy in second. Hope he didn't have Ederson!
