I still can't work out if a City CS is a good or bad thing. I have Otamendi in my best team and maybe 1 other but I still seem to drop on days like this.

PS will.i.off

I'm hoping Maldini's freekick prediction comes true.

The past 4 days have been a disaster.
I think I am going to drop from 18th Thursday day. To outside the top 100 after tonight's update.

Took a gamble trying to differenciate from the billions of man city teams and it's backfired big time. I thought man city fixtures were hard but I forgot how crap Chelsea and arsenal are nowdays

Did you drop City players for Arsenal and Chelsea?!

Pep has shown that the premier league really is terribly overrated. I'm not sure he will even rest his best players when the title is won. Only Liverpool can go toe to toe with Man City. Tottenham can be great but they always leave themselves exposed to the counterattack in big games.

No. Just over thought city's 'difficult games and rotation. I was probably low on city coverage anyway compared to those around me but gambling on none is suicide!

Arsenal could not even score a penalty and that was the nail that killed me I think

Thought I'd managed to ride out not having Man City defenders when they failed to keep a (TFF) clean sheet in Feb and had Arsenal and Chelsea next up. It appears I was wrong and rank will take a hit as a result. Hopefully their sparse fixtures for a couple of weeks will help...

Pascal Gross is coming up trump's. 28 points in 4 games is a great return having ditched Jones. Is he fit again?

Oh crap. As predicted dropped to 105th.
Every team on the leader board has Ederson. Walker. Otamendi minimum. It's awful when they don't concede.

Yeah it's terrible and absolutely no point trying to cover it now.

What Pep has shown is that the title can be bought - which we already knew. £200m just on defenders certainly helped.

Only about 9 hours early! My City players have been relatively rubbish (pointswise) in the last few games so I feel I can risk missing out on the Stoke haul. Makes sense logically but will undoubtedly kick me in the teeth in reality.

Aguero stays for me. It will be Eriksen or KDB that will become Lukaku for me.

I presume most have got 3 upfront or haven't got funds to upgrade a midfielder?

I would agree, if I wasn't in a timezone which made it almost impossible to study the team news (around 5 a.m.) in time to make the right moves. I've missed out on so many transfers recently because games kick off at 1 a.m. or 2:30 a.m. - or I wake up 5 minutes after kick off.
Most of the time I get up and open up FISO and read through this thread to see how the game went ... just like this morning for the City v Chelsea game .... it's a nightmare. If the game was on live I record it and watch it with breakfast, if not I read this thread, then BBC sport, then look at FPL points and wait for the TFF update if it isn't already in.

.... but on the plus side, it's damned hot here most of the year .... swings and roundabouts

Yeah got Firmino/Vardy as 3rd striker and not enough funds.

I'm 6/7 left in most (Best has 10) and I'm doing the Lukaku change. I wouldn't change the keeper tho.

Just been looking and, Lukaku aside, no Man U player has scored over 18 in their last 4 games. Take off the Man City score and you are looking at poor VFT for any 4 for 1.
