Kane hit a great ball through for Alli, who controlled the ball and shot, which was saved, but he immediately stabbed in the rebound first time.

We don't deal in assists. We deal in KCs which are NOT wiped out by saves.
That's not a KC for Kane though is it?
Not seen it. Explain what happened and I'll have a guess!
Kane passes to Alli. Alli shot saved, comes back to him and scores.

Wasn't the rule that if a player has his effort saved but puts in the rebound then any KCs are wiped out, but if someone else puts in the rebound, KC(s) are awarded?

Yup. According to TFF if they can't award a KC to the goalscorer, they can't award a second KC. But where a different player puts the rebound in the net, they can award two KCs.

I don't know about the TFF scoring points situation but Kane's pass was very good and definitely set up the goal.

Not seen the goal but from what I'm reading it sounds like that issue we had with I believe a Luka goal and Miki T pass?

and Miki T got nothing then, even though he set up Lukaku perfectly. So Kane should miss out if they're consistent.

Not 100% sure how the rules stand with the Kane pass for the goal but if he does not get a KC under the rules then they need changing

With Jesus in the squad he'll be fine .... just like KDB's miraculous recovery

I think the 'logic' is that saves don't negate KCs BUT the scorer (Alli) is then KCing himself so no 2nd KC for Kane.

Just seen 3rd City goal and that was from a save but should still be 2 KCs (KdB and Sterling). 6 KCs from 3 goals.

TFF should definitely change their rule and simply award a first kc.

Disagree. For all its flaws and idiosyncrasies the 2 KC system rewards good players. Often the most important (and difficult) pass is from a player who passes through the defence for someone to lay the ball off for a relatively easy assist. Without the 2 KC system those players aren't adequately rewarded in my opinion.

Kane 1 point, KdB 8 points, Sterling 10 points (so the latter 2 both get kcs for Agueros goal).

All as predicted then.

My lowest score (31) was in my team I was most trying to set up for tonight (FISO 2018 league). 35-51 in the rest. Mustn't grumble.

51! That's a great score. Got some Spurs defenders? My best was 33.

Am I correct that Mr Kovacs only went up 24 points, this evening?
His team as we last thought was Moraes 2 points, Walker 2 points, Otamendi 2 points, KdB 8 points, Sterling 10 points, Aguero 7 points. Total 31 points, isn't it. So I guess he's gone KdB to Kane.

High 40
Low 26

.... all teams lost between 10-20 points with that Watford consolation goal .... that's life :) Still some Chelsea defenders and (hopefully) a full 90 minutes from Kane

The maths looks right but it would have been an odd decision if he waited for the team news before kick off ....?

My guess is, last night it was Lingard from KdB (injury doubt), then tonite Kane from Sane. Team: Moraes, Walker, Otamendi, Mangala, Kenny, Sterling, Salah, Lingard, Kane, Aguero, Firmino at £49m.

WHam block. Would have been 76 without a jammy deflection.

If he has got rid of KDB then it tells you that this team isn’t high on his list of priorities and made the change without team news. Team must be on transfer fumes.

My teams are all falling too, although they all have the big players currently scoring big points. I figure that some people must be busting through transfers over Xmas with all of the fixtures.

I'm a bit guilty of that! Two teams now in the top 100 but can't afford to use any remaining transfers on a sneaky FA cup punt.

There must be a mistake somewhere. Lingard from KdB (at the time) made some sense but not a starting Sane to Kane - and I would have expected a Stones move too.

Guilty here too but they have been rising nicely (still a way off top 100 mind). Have they been worth it? Hmm, not sure yet. I overhugged to start with and in recent years have tried the hare finish with no great success so think jumping onto fast trains from hobbled ones makes more sense. Bar my Eggcup team they are all still on over 20 so that is survivable!
