Hoping Hazard and Alonso can rescue a very poor scoring week for me so far, also went for the Tottenham 3-0 over Man City with Son to replace Sterling who cost me 11 points with his miss, there is a chance Son won't play in the cup though.

Slowly moving upwards but hard going as expect top teams mostly v similar. Need to do something different to try and edge into that top 1000 but flip side is losing ground if doesn't come off!

Currently on 1462 in 1443rd with 17 transfers left. And a crocked Christensen so no doubt a little slide tonight!

Good effort Dunx, first year as a singleton?

Hi,yes,I normally only have 4 or 5 teams but with work and the introduction of transfers between games I found it a bit tricky to manage them well,so thought I'd put all my effort into one team

Ticking along nicely up to 425 with 1579 points, thinking of a cheeky Hazard if he doesn't start to either Mahrez or Vardy on Friday night,Leicester fixtures looking quite favourable.

Doing ok, in 1130 position with 13 transfers left. Will probably do Ederson to Schmeichel tomorrow to free up some funds to get Firmino in for their good run. Also looking at Ramsey when he's back, VVD or Robertson, and maybe Son. A lot rests on the FA Cup games this weekend though

Finally made some headway last week. 1556pts and up to 898th. 16 transfers left. Currently on the potential 3-0 Lukaku over Aguero but fully expecting that to be blown when Aguero trots out in the cup or Lukaku doesn't!

....and that's saying something as he's had some shockers  :D

Only joking norvern, so do you have transfers in hand for a late charge? You not still got that Southampton defence have you? There's still time for a strong finish.

I was late jumping aboard the City train, and persisted with Morata for too long. I had a shocking Xmas, fielding only 5 one week and fell well behind in my super league. I've had a surge in recent weeks and am now in 3rd and 40 pts off top spot in my league, who still has about 18 transfers left. Overall I'm in 6500 position and have 17 transfers left, so still hopeful.

Who knows, we may get some snow disruption over the next week, so there may be some more 3 for 0 opportunities to make up ground.

I think City losing in the FA Cup will have thrown a few spanners in the works for the hare teams that have burned through trannies, and with no game this week because of the milk cup final, the City heavy teams will be reeled in a bit.

Good luck to the other singles, looks like from the scores posted here there's still some riding high amongst the tsunami of Sandor Kovocs teams, I'm guessing all of us will be able to say be beat at least one of his teams :D

With Sterling's injury and Jesus back I have it in mind to move both on. With 14 transfers left and £11.6m to spend am thinking

Mahrez/Eriksen/Vardy all good fixtures and in the cup
Hazard - Steady returns and in the cup
Ramsey/Mkhitaryan - Good fixtures but out of cup
Which two of the above, or even anyone else?

Team is De Gea/Christensen/Smalling/Maguire/Salah/KdB/Docoure/?/?/Firmino/Kane

Or do nothing for now and jump on and off as fixtures allow.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I'm seriously considering Sterling ➡ Mahrez, already have Vardy, also Eriksen has been rested in the cup

I’m also making some ground up in my league. 3rd place only 18 points off top (was 50 not so long ago).

59 this week, 1690 total in 7533 place. 9 left

But no City coverage. Which I’ll need to right. Sterling back for me after break.

Haven't posted in this in a long time!

Still defending my lead in my SL, with now a 32 point buffer ... been around that for a while, with me and 2nd having 8 of the same players! (we have a public only rule in our SL).

Only got 3 transfer left though :o

1800 total in 505 place overall.

64>1787>752 with 9 xfers left. Three of us within 10pts and jousting for the lead in my SL so all to play for. Having swapped out all my Man City on 4-1s etc so need to decide whether to complete those or just let them roll.

Had a great month and now up to 400 rank with 5 transfers left. Have a strong team and a vague plan for the remaining subs, currently top of all my cash and elite leagues and hoping to push on for a top 200/300 finish which would be my best in many a year!

Still top of my superleague but my 80 point lead is now down to 30,squeaky bum time, 9 transfers left, still going strong and top in the £20 elite league, has anyone won one of these?
1809 points and sitting nicely in 387th by far my best season ever.

:D 22 transfers left Norvern  It should be a fun finish with that many, you can really attack the 3 for 1's in the run in. Remember you can only use 5 max a week though, otherwise you'd be hammering that transfer button like you were playing Daley Thomson's decathlon computer game from the olden days. :D

Up to 584th yesterday and with my x3 Man Utd defence looking vulnerable next week to Man City am considering Lukaku/Smalling to Mkhi/Auba. With 9 transfers left feels like a free 3 extra games. Will then revert on the 3-1s and/or just daisy chain into FA Cup finalists as all have extra games coming up. Is there a downside to that approach?

I’d be doing the same if I were you. And am doing the Lukaku to Auba myself mate. Have big doubts over Arsenal but with 2 home games they should score some goals. Shouldn’t they?!

You would think so but it is Arsenal!? Although home record is half decent. Surely a goal apiece isn't too much to ask for over those 3 games. NM could even bring in the whole Arsenal team with all his transfers!😀

38 yesterday and probably 26 today with no transfers used this week looks a good score I guess. Still have 15 transfers to play with. In the past I have used them all chasing extra games and ended up loosing points so this year I am in no rush.

Managed 76. But I did a Firmino to Vardy for a 3 - 1 Leicester over Liverpool as well
