TFF chit chat 31st January and 1st February.
Hello.
Made the big switch from desk top to laptop this week and as yet I'm not happy. I can't type properly, the screen looks like a postage stamp, it hasn't got a delete button that I can find and trying to use a mouse on top of my knee is not easy. It looks posh though.
As a consequence I will be somewhat briefer than usual.
On the footie front It's all going a bit wobbly as well. What do we do about Costa now that he misses three and also has eight yellows? Could he get yet another ban? Will Aguero stay fit? Is Sanchez fit or not with his dodgy hamstring? Do I go Rooney for his extra fixtures, Sturridge because he may now be fit or Giroud because of his haircut?
Saturday 31st January
The early one today is Hull v Newcastle: My Hull block team are having a bit of a nightmare this season but how will they perform against an unpredictable Newcastle side? This game could be as dull as a dull thing.
Crystal Palace v Everton: Twelfth and thirteenth respectively meet up in this one. Everton are surely one of the big disappointments of this season. I was expecting big points from Barkley, Lukaku, Baines and Coleman but over a period of time they have all been shipped out. Palace at the back just aren't Palace at the back without Pulis.
Liverpool v West Ham In this match up we get seventh playing eighth. Both of these seem to have been going well of late but Liverpool have gathered very few TFF points for me. West Ham on the other hand continue to provide a steady trickle. How long do we wait before bringing Sturridge in?
Manchester United v Leicester: Leicester currently languishing at the bottom of the table pay a visit to a Manchester side who seem to be flattering to deceive but still riding high in 4th place. Just when you think you have them sussed as a poor at the back but a spectacular mob going forward they seem to be doing it in reverse.
Stoke v QPR: What a huge blow losing Bojan could be for Stoke in so many ways. They looked like they were perhaps thinking of leaving those rufty tufty times behind them. Mind you it wouldn't be the same without them would it?
Sunderland v Burnley: These two are just hovering above the relegation places. I have at various times had Ings, Fletcher and Van Armlock in my teams but I now just have one single Larson.
West Brom v Tottenham: Spurs could find this one a bit tougher than it would have been before Mr Pulis took over. I could be tempted to have a flutter on some Baggies defenders next time I need to tinker. I all of a sudden have loads of Harry Kane!
Chelsea v Manchester City: It's a game that is so huge that it's bigger and more crucial than it really is, was or might be. Yes, that's how big it is. Massive.
Sunday 1st February
Arsenal v Aston Villa: It's a match up between the two teams who are always top at the start of the season. It may not end up that way.
Southampton v Swansea: This is a game that features about 95% of my defensive players throughout my teams. Three apiece is probably on the cards.
Struth! That was a pain.
May all your hard drives be unfragmented.
Good luck.

Re: TFF chit chat 31st January and 1st February.
Hull boss Steve Bruce makes four changes as Nikica Jelavic, Abel Hernandez, Gaston Ramirez and Andrew Robertson return.
For Newcastle, Sammy Ameobi comes in and Papiss Cisse is on the bench.
Hull XI: McGregor, Elmohamady, Robertson, Davies, Dawson, Huddlestone, Livermore, Meyler, Ramírez, Jelavić, Hernández.
Newcastle XI: Krul, Janmaat, Williamson, Coloccini (c), Haidara, Sissoko, Anita, Colback, Cabella, Perez, Ameobi.
Anybody care??

Cripes, I even looked at doing a Hull block in weekender but they can only be bothered to use 3 defenders.
I'm off round to Black Caviar's to admire the drying paint.

Is deliberately scoring a goal with your hand not a red card?

It should be,scoring a goal is just the same as saving a goal in my opinion. It's human nature to stop the ball going in it's just a reaction, but he new what he was doing which makes it a lot worse. OFF OFF OFF OFFsjr wrote:Is deliberately scoring a goal with your hand not a red card?

Will be Di Maria & RVP if KCs are given, but it looked as if the defender may have played it on to Falcao as they both slid in after the keeper parried.SPR wrote:Falcao (Di Maria?)

If the defender touched it, then that will be very annoying.Canaryfan wrote:Will be Di Maria & RVP if KCs are given, but it looked as if the defender may have played it on to Falcao as they both slid in after the keeper parried.SPR wrote:Falcao (Di Maria?)

Stoke clean sheet denied by Kranjcar - wow, someone not called Austin scored for QPR!
