TFF chit chat 22nd, 23rd and 24th November.
Good morning.
The weather may be as dull as a dull thing but we have that little ray of sunshine that is TFF back to brighten the day after yet another international break.
Speaking of internationals how come Welbeck and Wooney are scoring for fun for England but not for my teams.
......and what's going on at FIFA? Would most of the these whistle blowers be referees?
Anyway enough of all of that and lets get on with the action.
Saturday 22nd November.
No early kick off today so it's straight into the 3:00pm games.
Chelsea versus West Brom: It's high flying Chelsea up against the team with the highest ground in England. I have a lot of Fabregas going on so I'm hoping that the injury mutterings were nothing substantial. I also usually have a fair bit of Chelsea coverage at the back but the returns for the cost don't seem so good this time around. Is Costa injured?
Everton against West Ham: Everton are as frustrating and confusing for me as ever. Will Ross Barkely be worth getting soon? After all that nice Mr Martinez says he will be the best England player ever. As for the Hammers I need Downing to keep performing now that I have him in a few. Will Big Andy be playing a part?
Leicester versus Sunderland: Leicester's early promise seems to have evaporated as have Ulloas goals. On the other hand that nice Mr Poyet has taken Sunderland to the dizzy heights of 14th place and even Stephen Fletcher is scoring again. Did I mention that I used to have him in my team?
Manchester City versus Swansea: The welsh wizards from Wales are going well and find themselves only 3 points behind Manchester City in 6th place but have a stern test against them today . Manchester at the moment are something of a curates egg in sheep's clothing. Will Siggy bring his spiders with him?
Newcastle against QPR: Newcastle are awesome at the moment whereas QPR are not. I have no one playing in this game but I'm sure the respective supporters will be interested. Have a good game everyone.
Stoke versus Burnley: New boys Burnley will get to learn what travelling to the potteries for some rufty tufty mularky is all about. Stoke are doing okay pottering about as they are in 9th place but things are looking grim for Burnley. Hat-trick for Crouch anyone?
The late one today is Arsenal against Manchester United: Always a good one this and quite feisty in the past. Can Manchester beat those well groomed Arsenal lads or has the balance shifted? With Giroud possibly available today the Gunners will win hands down on the grooming front. Surely the days of 8-2 are consigned to history for a while......or is it? Arsenal are flattering to deceive once again in a sort of deceptively deceptive way. I really could do with squeezing Sanches in but every time try he doesn't fit which is odd as he's not a big bloke.
Sunday 23rd November.
Firsts game this Sunday is Crystal Palace against Liverpool: Palace made of glass, Liverpool lacking class up front. Sturridge injured yet again which is seriously compromising my Sterling and Llalalalalana selections. Sadly it's all after the lord mayors show for Liverpool who seem to be a damp squib of a team compared to last season. All in all it's all going very pear shaped on the field at Anfield.
The second game of the day is Hull versus Tottenham: Spurs are just poo at the back and not much better elsewhere and yet I find myself with a boat load of them in my teams. Hull are also fairly poo at the back and once again I have a few of them mooching about. It explains a lot really.
Monday 24th November.
Aston Villa versus Southampton: We have Monday night football at the home of the mighty Villa at mighty Villa Park. Southampton are once again a revelation whilst Villa contemplate relegation. If Villa could bang in a few after my Southampton defenders have been substituted I would be a happy man indeed.
That's the lot then.
Just remember if in doubt do something reckless after all it worked for Mark.
Good luck everyone.

Taylor starts for Swansea, form an orderly queue to put him in (and then watch them get a hammering)

Look at the standard of the teams Welbeck has actually scored against, both for England and in the CL. Nowhere near Prem standard defences.Spinynorman wrote: Speaking of internationals how come Welbeck and Wooney are scoring for fun for England but not for my teams.

Was looking at the wrong week - I thought it made my pre-planned tactics in one team a little strange At least Coleman starts...

Just looked at my Manc-heavy team and 4 Man U players have orange question marks next to them. Daley 'might be 6 months out' Blind doesn't have anything.....
