fyi Spurs home games moved to Sunday - today, 26th Oct and 9 Nov.
Just noticed that myself oops  Already behind in fixtures lol. Will change them now.
happyhoppy wrote:A nice upgrade on my one, great job and thanks for sharing.

My only comment and this is just my personal preference is that I wouldn't have the whole fixture in the box as it makes it harder to read at a glance (for me), so Arsenal playing at Chelsea today would just be "che" (in lower case to show away game).
Yeah I did think that a well, might change it to see what it looks like. Cheers for the feedback :D

Lo all :)

So we're half way through the league fixtures, so thought I would update the website a bit. No idea if anyone actually stills uses this but I do, so its a shameless plug if nothing else :D

http://www.orangecactus.co.uk/tff/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

* Added in all FA Cup fixtures (only confirmed 4th Round games so far, will add the others in once the 3rd Round is completed). Lower league teams are all marked blue because in theory, they should be easy an easy fixture. Take with pinch of salt. CHP = Championship, L1 = League 1, L2 = League 2

* Updated fixtures for the foreseeable future

* Added in a selection in the top left to base the weighting on the current Christmas standings to give a better overview of current form against last years form. Majority of them are still the same but nice to see the differences.

So there you have it :) Nice and easy to spot the 3 - 0 that Southampton have over City, Hull etc ... other things to note using the 2014 / 15 stats:

* Spurs have a very nice run, with a potential FA cup game in there against Leicester as well on the 24th Jan. No Europa until 19th Feb either.

* Man United have a 2 - 0 over City et al as well from the 11th

* City then have a 2 - 0 over QPR (and any other teams knocked out of the FA cup)

Anyway, its all there to use if needed :)

This is great, thanks for sharing!

If you're looking for further feedback, one small tweak may be worth doing - when a team may have a fixture if they get through cup replays, maybe have a question mark or something for the next round?

For example, scanning down the fixtures up to and including Jan 24th you can see at a glance which teams have more games, which is brilliant, but west ham, saints, everton, burnley and spurs may also have a game w/end of the 24th too, if they get through. It would just be the cherry on the icing on the cake if we could see these potential games at a glance too.

It would help highlight for example, saints having a 4 to 1 over QPR between 11th and 31st (if they win their replay of course)

Cheers

Oh, what a dilemma that would be, which of my QPR players to sell......?

Haha, well I have Austin, but he's being shipped out for Pelle for exactly this scenario!

Great Help, Bookmarked.

My only small niggle is that I think the BLUE + GREEN should be switched. It might just be me, but I keep looking at the GREEN fixtures as the easiest (17 and promoted).

So what's this about a Soton 4-1 over QPR?! Charlie Austin to Pelle time?

If they win their cup replay against Ipswich, and you'd need to make the switch between this Sat/Sun fixtures in advance of that replay. It's at least a 3 to 1 though.

Southampton don't have a home game until February though, unless i'm much mistaken, even if they win their cup replay... whereas Spurs have 4 out of next 5 at home if they beat Burnley...

Also added a running score for fixture; if you put your mouse over a coloured box it will show you a calculated score ... the higher the number the easier the run (from the 1st available game).

Lo guys

Just so you know, I have launched this years version :)

http://www.orangecactus.co.uk/tff/

Let me know if you spot anything a miss. I will update as fixtures change and with the help of Mystery and his magic Google links, hopefully can have this automated soon (or maybe even strip it back and put it in Google docs .. stay tuned!)

I was searching for this and I couldn't find it so I knocked up my own one. I'd pulled the fixtures together into game weeks as the gaps made it hard for me to see the trend.

Below is the first seven weeks.

It looks like Southampton has a good start and Man City's doesn't look bad apart from the Chelsea game but there's no obvious candidate with no hard fixtures like ManU had last year.

Hi Guys

Just thought I would let you know that I have updated the site for the coming seasons fixtures, as I know a few of you use it:

http://www.orangecactus.co.uk/tff/

It will update over night with any fixture changes (or as soon as TFF has them). The main change this year is I have broken the fixtures down by kick off time, so hopefully easier to see any runs etc.

Let me know if you have any ideas to improve it

T
